Small Waterproof Digital Video Camera

I wanted to have my video camera & small digital camera easily accessible, and be able to carry them with as little weight as possible. I also didn't want the bag to look like a camera bag. I travel to countries where I could be an easy target for thieves IF they thought I had expensive equipment in my bag. I can easily get to my equipment, but don't feel like I have a huge weight on my shoulders. So this works for me!

Bought this case for Canon digital camera waterproof case, WP-DC51. It fits snugly and just what I needed for travel protection. Lightweight neoprene, not too bulky, snaps on back to close securely.

It is smaller than I expected but perfect really for my small waterproof camera. As soon as it warms up it will be in the pool with me.

It is waterproof, small, very useful when you want to be in the picture or not wanting to touch the camera while taking a picture. All this for $ bucks. What else can you ask for that price?

I bought this camera for two things. To video dogs I was grooming and to video dogs I was training. I use these videos for training new employee purposes as well as for the customers enjoyment. I've already posted one on my YouTube channel. It does come with a non waterproof back to the waterproof camera case so you can record sound better. Perfect for what I'm doing. I'm not going to submerse the camera but it may get splashed a bit when bathing a dog. It should be splash proof even with the slotted back on it. I attached it to a chest harness while I was grooming and that worked out much better than a helmet cam would have. You can see clearly everything my hands are doing. And because it's attached to a chest harness it's right under my chin so picks up sound well. Surprisingly it was not in my way at all, although I looked a bit odd with it on. Waterproof and holds 16 sd cards, small and fits perfectly in pocket or camera bag; if it falls on ground will not accidentally open! Great price as well!

I actually bought 2 of these straps, one for my camera and one I gave my husband for Christmas. We are avid kayakers and both have small, waterproof, point and shoot cameras that came only with wrist straps. I have not used mine, but my husband went out last weekend and really liked this strap. The best part is the adjustability of it. You can set it for different lengths, so he was able to have it long enough to take pictures and short enough to put in his pocket. The only thing is that the connection is a little tight, but I can't call that a bad thing. While it is hard to disconnect the camera, would I really want it to easily come undone?

Great for small camera accessories, pistol, or waterproof case for kayaking. Very heavy duty with secure latches. Nanuk is quickly becoming my favorite hard case manufacturer!
