Bought this to get wireless DMX in a small lighting rig in ceiling of an auditorium. We leave the USB charging cable attached and powered up. Battery is removable so you don’t have to worry about overcharging it. Generates its own SSID or you can assign it to an existing one. Brilliant. It can also be used for a tester of your DMX chain at any point. Comes with a free phone app. For $150 you can control an entire universe of DMX... and it fits in your pocket!
