I love how compact and light this tripod is. I can easily throw it in a daypack or strap it on to even the smallest of DSLR bags. Given the amount of travel and hiking I do, its nice to have a tripod that I can bring along which doesn't weight me down or take up too much space. Its also incredibly easy to set-up and break down. The minute I saw this Canon SD780IS in the store, I knew I had to have one. I believe it is the smallest camera Canon has ever made and I love that I can keep it with me at all times. I have a Canon SD950IS which I like alot but this is so much smaller and easier to take with me. As soon as the battery was charged, I took it outside and began to shoot. Every picture was tack sharp. Later I took pictures inside with low light and again they were very sharp. I was most impressed with how great the HD Video is. I ordered SD780 IS in gold, but it is actually a pretty copper color. 5 |
