This is my first digital full frame camera and the pictures are great. I am impressed with the color rendition even with an overcast sky. The camera is solid and well made and this lens has a good range with very sharp images.

This is a great kit for cleaning you digital camera full frame sensor. There are step by step instructions to follow. Once you've cleaned the sensor one time, it is very to do. Unfortunately, all sensors sooner or later get some dirt on them. This is a safe way to clean your sensor. Very easy to learn to use.

For architectural and interior shooters with full frame bodies this lens will be a staple right next to the EF 15 2.8. Much improved for digital bodies in the corners with less vignetting and chromatic abberation. Heavy and easy to damage though not usually a problem on a tripod. Really expensive upgrade for what you get IMO as the old EF 14 2.8L USM was O.K. on film but really not a particularly great lens on a digial body. For digital you almost have to have the mkII version unless you are willing to carefully correct the chromatic abberations in LR or CS4. Pricey but if you have to shoot wide there is nothing else to compete with it for a full frame Canon digital body.

Before going 100% digital I shot Nikon F5 35mm film camera. I had a full complement of Nikkors including the 16mm 2.8 fisheye. When I went digital it was the APS-C cropped sensor that made the fisheye pretty much useless. So I sold it. Now, I am once more full frame with a D600 and D610. I wanted another fisheye and since it won't get the hard use of my other lenses and based on the B&H sales person's recommendation, I went with the Sigma which is considerably less expensive. As has been my long-time experience with B&H, the sales person was correct that the images are comparable to the Nikon. I am not suggesting that the Nikon and Sigma would be equal on an optical test bench. I am saying that in real-world photography, I don't see much of a difference. The Sigma is sharp, fast, and has the distortion you would expect of a fisheye lens. Some of that is mitigated by keeping the horizon centered in the frame. It is a fun lens and is surprisingly handy for candids in, say, a crowded space.

I've purchased many cameras, lenses and accessories from B&H. I love my full frame digital Nikon which weighs about 5.0 lbs with lens. By the time I climbed to the top of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, the decimal point dropped out! This Sony is a wonderful side kick to my Nikon. I bought a second one as a Christmas gift.
