I am very satisfied from this camera. Earlier I had a Canon S2 is an excellent camera's SLR-like, but she really did not approach the capabilities of the camera I purchased (Pentax KX). Maybe because K-X does not SLR-like - it's a full SLR. It can be used also by amateurs (with all automatic options) and professional photographers with manual control over every detail of the photography. Although I think there is no need for so many automatic options. I use only manual settings and it gives even for non-professional photographer stunning images. Recommended. 5 |

I am a professional photographer with photography always on my mind. An SLR with a couple of lenses was always the best option, but it was sometimes a uncomfortable to carry that much equipment. I found in this camera a the power and features (manual mode specially) of an SLR in a compact design. Pics quality is superb and carrying it is not a problem. I am coming from a canon SLR professional and own many L lenses. I picked this up with a M6 and the combo is very useful for small walkaround and selfie pictures. I don't have a chance to test color rendering side by side with other Canon primes or L zoom lens. But so far for basic photography, I can't complain. It will bring it with my travel! 5 |
