Smart Car Rear View Mirror Video Recorder Camera

These radios are amazing. Installed in my Jeep above my rear view mirror and I am stoked about it. It’s small enough to not be in the way but is great for communicating with fellow Jeep’s. I used the ghost antenna so that it didn’t get wiped out by limbs on the trail. I’m thinking of purchasing the 6db antenna to help increase my range. I feel you can’t go wrong with this radio! Will be purchasing another for my sons Jeep.

This works well as a head strap but it also works if you want to use it to wrap around something that may be easily scratched. This could mean the side view mirror of a car or maybe just to wrap around your pet. Over all, this product is one to have handy.

Been using the X1000 front and rear cameras for a few weeks. Very pleased with the video quality and ease of downloading onto computer for viewing. As a senior citizen (70+) it was easy to start using after the professional hardwired installation. The few questions I had, Thinkware customer service answered very quickly for me via email and chat. My car already has driver assist features so I am not using those features that come with this camera. I wanted the video quality to be super in detail, sharpness, lighting, etc. so I could see as much detail as possible. This camera delivers on those needs. Love the parking recording feature. Liked it so much, that I just ordered another camera for our second car.

I recently dove into the video with your dslr world. Video is great, but audio not so much. So using a recorder - Zoom h4n, a good combination was made. But when the recorder is connected to the camera on the hotshoe, the screen it facing up. This makes it hard to see levels and changes things if needed if i need to view the video at the same time. In comes this handy device - The hotshoe mount. Now once this is connected to the hotshoe of the camera, I can angle the Zoom on the ball mount, allowing it to face me directly so I can view my levels and video at the same time. I'm thinking of buying additional mounts, as it has many other uses other than just sitting on the hotshoe of a camera.

I also picked up this camera for the rear of my car and it nice and compact enough that you can fit anywhere.

Feeding Audio from A recorder to a Video camera.

Purchased this lav to work in tandem with the native recorder on smart phones for some field video shoots. Nice little mic, works well, sound quality is perfect for our purposes. Decent range with more bass than I was expecting.

This is my second dash camera from Garmin. I use it for a rear view. The size is phenomenal. It doesn't attract attention. Very good software. Voice commands are very well designed and functional. It syncs with the front camera and works very well with the parking cable. The image quality is pretty good.. Higher resolution would require a lot more disk space.

Needed it for use with the Rode Smart Lav and my Zoom recorder.
