Smart Car Trunk Accessories

This light is great for camping and car trunk illumination.

I had lost my first one because I stored my monopod in the trunk of my car.... Long story short it's not the best idea. But thankfully fixing my mistake only cost a couple dollars! I ordered this replacement and it definitely works again.

I was looking for a case to keep my gear safe in a very full car trunk as we travel. This does the trick. No problem holding my D7000, its lens, a large telephoto, a macro and my flash. Very satisfied.

A bit over sized (eg in car trunk and not carry-on) but I get all my gear well protected. With Plasti Dip sealing once I figured out my configuration should work well for years. I got the larger case (3 foam layers deep) So I could configure with elements standing up for more efficient use of space. Replacing foam is expensive as you can only buy the full replacement (and not individual layers, which is great for marketing bad for consumers), so plan layout well. Shoe-Goo helps repair so you can reconfigure a bit though is a mess.

I have a smaller car so I can't fit a full sized c stand in my trunk. This works great for that and even at full extension there is no wobble. Knobs feel good.

I use this with my Nikon sb800. It works very well and is easily portable (I keep it in the trunk of my car). The quality seems fine for this price system. So far I have used it indoors to do portaits but I intend to use it for tabletop item shots. Two of these would make a nice little portable setup. I use a reflector now to get the fill light. As is the case with any light equipment stand you will need to add some weight or acchor the stand if used outside with any wind.

I use the DVO-2 case for my Panasonic HMC-150P. It's a very nice case, it holds everything I need and then some. It fits into the trunk of my car just fine. The thing I like most about it is the many pockets it comes with to place your gear in.

It's the SM57. You need at least one. Enough said. Buy it early, let it roll around in the trunk of your car for a summer and a winter, drop it a few times; and it will sound just as sweet as the old ones. You're going to pay the same everywhere. B&H deserves your business!

I have 3 of these, owned them for the past 4yrs. They're built extremely tough, have dropped one from the trunk of my car onto the concrete & everything was fine inside it, not a scratch to the outside either. I highly recommend their products to everyone. This is the only brand I'll purchase after owning them for over 4yrs as they have taken care of all my products throughout the years.

Be sure to check the measurement specs before purchasing this. I can't fit it in my car's trunk without putting the seats down. It's huge. However, it is great quality and gets the job done for what I need. I can fit three small video tripods (Manfrotto 190Xs) in there and even a couple light stands and an Amaran 60x. The wheels are durable and smooth as well.
