Smart Keyboard For Ipad Air 5Th Generation

I bought this keyboard for my daughter’s 5th generation iPad. Other retailers offered similar keyboards, but at much higher prices. This keyboard was affordable, has a place to secure a stylus/Apple Pencil, and was delivered next day. I couldn’t be happier!

I bought this to replace the 5 1/2 year old Smart Keyboard for my 3rd generation iPad Pro. I used the old keyboard extensively with the iPad, eventually wearing it out. Given how much I enjoyed using the old keyboard and how long it lasted, it was an easy decision to replace it with essentially the same device. The only difference between the old and new keyboard is the size of the back camera opening, which is larger on this newer version. I also prefer this keyboard over Apple's Magic Keyboard because I can fold it back behind the iPad for reading a book, which the Magic Keyboard doesn't do.

I considered the Apple Keyboard's for my new iPad Air 4th generation. I have had both brands before for earlier iPad's. This Logitech keyboard is in the same league as the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio (similar configuration), but has three very important features that are lacking on the Apple keyboard. 1. Backlit keys. 2. Top row of short-cut function keys. 3. Trackpad. So, for less money, you can have a keyboard with much more functionality.

I'm a professional illustrator and ordered this to go with my new iPad Pro 5th Generation (also ordered and perfectly fulfilled by B & H) - I was SO pleased to see it show up a FULL DAY earlier than B & H said it would. Perfectly packaged and works flawlessly! Thanks so much!

This is my third iPad. My 3rd generation iPad Mini is a digital clock and my 5th generation iPad Mini is still working well. Of course, I would recommend any iPad. They are fast, secure, and beautiful. My B&H order was easy to place and the item was shipped immediately. It arrived a day earlier than I expected. Thank you!

Even with a very grippy OtterBox Defender Case (iPad Air case on a 5th Gen iPad) the edges don't give you much space to hold. If your thumb touches the screen, your touchscreen functions don't work correctly. The Latch II solves this problem by giving you a handle on back. It is very comfortable and rotates for portrait or landscape modes. The belt clip, accessory bag, and shoulder strap are icing on the cake.

The keyboard that they made for the pro iPad I would have bought it if they would have made one for the iPad air 3,it would have been easy to do,I would have pay more.

For this iPad i had two options. The Smart Keyboard from apple or this. And I’m glad i chose those. The keyboard has a trackpad and a place to keep the apple pencil which i though i wont really need but found to be super useful.

I upgraded from a sixth generation iPad. The old one was very sluggish. The iPad Air M2 chip is very quick. Websites that used to take forever to load (maybe 30 seconds) now load in just a few seconds. Wish I'd upgraded long ago. The iPad Air M2 is thin and light. The battery charge easily lasts, and I can usually stretch it to two days. I strongly recommend getting a quality shock resistant case. $600 is a lot of money to risk dropping and breaking.

It seems like with every generation of iPad Air Apple takes small steps in the right direction of manufacturing the perfect tablet.
