Smart Keyboard For Ipad Pro 2017

The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth.

Good size, can carry the iPad Pro with the Apple iPad keyboard attached. Smart zippers that prevent pick pockets from opening the zippers too easily Lots of compartments for a bag so small Easy to put on and off. I like the features that enable this. The fabric is slightly wrinkled on the outward surface part near the upper seams. But this is a very minor cosmetic issue.

This is simply the best keyboard for an iPad Pro.

I bought this to replace the 5 1/2 year old Smart Keyboard for my 3rd generation iPad Pro. I used the old keyboard extensively with the iPad, eventually wearing it out. Given how much I enjoyed using the old keyboard and how long it lasted, it was an easy decision to replace it with essentially the same device. The only difference between the old and new keyboard is the size of the back camera opening, which is larger on this newer version. I also prefer this keyboard over Apple's Magic Keyboard because I can fold it back behind the iPad for reading a book, which the Magic Keyboard doesn't do.

For this iPad i had two options. The Smart Keyboard from apple or this. And I’m glad i chose those. The keyboard has a trackpad and a place to keep the apple pencil which i though i wont really need but found to be super useful.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! Coming from a 2017 10.5 iPad Pro, this is quite an upgrade. Loving the HDR screen.

Upgrading from a 2017 iPad Pro. That 2017 model was pretty advanced, so this doesn't seem like a super huge jump, but this is a very nice iPad and seems a bit faster and crisper. There is really nothing not to like. The display is very bright and sharp, and it's a good sized screen. I'd honestly love to have a 15 version, but this works.

As recommended by Brydge, I purchased to protect my 2017 iPad Pro. When I went in to have the battery checked, Genius Bar employee was impressed by the screen protector quality, too. Just got new iPad Pro and another Brydge screen protector.
