I am the operations manager for a security company in North Carolina and I purchased this camera back when it was first released on the market as a replacement for the DrivePro Body 10 that I lost during an altercation at our nightclub contract. When it was first released, I experienced a few issues with the DrivePro Toolbox but I expected that as it was a new product for Transcend. The problems I experienced were quickly rectified by Transcend as the camera picked up more users. The only problem I have is with the app; however, it's not a deal breaker for me I prefer to have everything on the computer so I can transfer it to a flash drive to submit to the police and courts as evidence. Compared to the Body 10, which is a great camera itself, the Body 30 is far superior. With Image Stabilization and Auto IR turned on you are guaranteed to never miss what you intend to record as the IR only activates in extremely low lighting. With Stealth Mode activated you can sneak up on situations to determine what's going on before anyone involved in the situation even knows that you are there or you can turn it on to trick someone into thinking that you have stopped recording. All in all, I love this camera and am looking forward to continuing to use it in the field. As a side note for the people who are complaining about the beeping and buzzing the camera makes being audible in their recordings, that is not limited to this camera. I work closely with Officers from CMPD and they have told me that the AXON (Taser) body cameras that they are issued do it as well. 5 |

Purchased this camera from the South Coast Plaza location. The manager was really helpful and made the sale go smooth. I would say i am a beginner to moderate skill level with these types of camera's, so i am in no way going to get into all kinds of advanced camera lingo yet. haha It feels rock solid, lense interchange is fast and easy. As you can see from the photo, it is super crisp and colors appear to be great. Can't wait get get a Zeiss Prime Lense and mess around with it more! 5 |

This was probably my thirtieth attempt to get a camera bag that worked for me. I’m a traveling manager who also shoots stills and video for training development, so I needed a bag that lets me carry what’s needed and still look the part of the professional manager without the bag’s design screaming, “There’s camera gear inside!” Bottom line, it’s my perfect travel bag. And a big thanks to the B&H folks for being patient with my returns! 5 |

We are a developer of command and control software and often buy various brands of IP cameras to test with our software suite. This camera was an addition late last year and we've actually deployed it on our property (mostly for testing). We cannot say enough about Axis products... this camera works as advertised and was easily integrated into our software. It is ONVIF compliant and provides crystal clear video. We are located in Florida and rarely use the defogging feature, but we would love to have self cleaning optics (a feature starting to appear on high end IP cameras) since the camera is located nearly 30 feet in the air making it difficult to clean... but that is the only thing we had in the wish it had it column. Overall a highly versatile and functional PTZ IP camera... we highly recommend this one! 5 |

This camera was purchased as a replacement of a defective IP camera. It worked immediately and provided an outstanding picture. 5 |

This kit worked perfectly with POE NVR and 2MP IP camera over 30 feet of existing coax. There needs to be 3 x 2 x 1 inch of space for this device on transmit side plus enough extra space to add rigid BNC connector to coax, but possible in 4 x 4 double gang box. The receiver mounts on 35mm DIN rail but the spring clamp wasn't strong enough to prevent slipping. 5 |

We have purchased two of these so far to use primarily as NVRs for a large number of IP cameras on a school campus. Licensing costs aside, Synology Surveillance Station does a really nice job making it easy to set up and scale with the number of cameras you have. We linked two together, making one the primary and the other a secondary target for recordings. Surveillance Station records direct-to-disk, and does a decent job of adjusting camera settings directly using ONVIF. We have about 50+ cameras running at resolutions from 1280x720 up to 2560x1600, some PTZ, some ceiling-mount fisheyes, mostly wide angle fixed, and everything works pretty well. We were even able to use the manual camera configuration to use some uncommon double-lens cameras. With about 26 cameras assigned to each RS422+, we see about 20-25% CPU on each on average during a typical day. We can comfortably handle 32 per unit, and supposedly up to 40 if needed. With x4 6TB drives in each set in SHR-1 (equivalent to RAID5) we have about a month or so of footage retention. The licensing is a little pricey at $50 per camera (unless you buy in bulk from some european IP camera shops...), but it is perpetual and I think worth the expense. Using two of these units, 8 cheap drives from eBay (luckily these do not suffer from the Synology whitelist) and a bunch of camera licenses, for around under $5000 I was able to build and set up a really easy to use and reliable NVR system with plenty of future expandability. 2-3 users are regularly connected on their desktops without issue. 5 |
