Great stand, great price! Perfect for kick and snare mics.

generally use it to mic the top of a snare drum with no worries of it being hit by a drumstick

Best snare mic I have used so far! There is a lot more bottom than with my B56a. Used it on vocals also and it's great! Looking to try it on guitar amp soon. It's kind of a go-to mic, just like a 57, but with something more, probably due to its large-diaphragm. Check the review on Recordinghacks! Be aware that you better use it on a stand tho, there's a lot of handling noise. For less handling noise, check out the pr-22.

this mic does a great job on the bottom side of the snare. Nice crisp high end, nice mids. Sounds better than the small condenser mic we were using.

This kit is perfect, and for an excellent price. The mics sound fantastic and offer some flexibility not found in the usual suspects when it comes to drum mics. For example, the kick mic having two phase aligned capsules and being able to record each simultaneously and then mix them to taste. is wonderful in practice It also offers a few different sound flavor settings depending on how you are using it. The overheads are small and light, and also offer a couple of options. I've used an SM57 on snare for decades so I'm very familiar with it, but I really like the similar sound of the snare mic. The build quality is extremely good, and it comes in an awesome heavy duty case to keep everything tidy and safe and sound when not in use. I really couldn't be much happier with this kit in relation to my old setup ((C314s, Beta 52, SM57, e604s) and the only thing I can think of that I don't like is that the clip holders for toms/snare are a bit tough to get on relative to the e604 holders. I highly recommended the Lewitt Beatkit Pro.

I bought this to record drums. With 8 inputs, I can mic 2 overheads, 2 on the snare (top and bottom), kick, rack tom and floor tom, and still have an input to track bass at the same time. I’m using this with Studio One 5 Pro and had no problem setting it up and recording in the same day. Pristine sound and zero latency issues. Great interface - love it.

No words for this mic. In my opinion, the best microphone to record guitars. It records voice, snare and another stuff very well too.
