Snark Hz Tuning 12 String Guitar

2024-09-27 02:51:13

Purchased 2 snark tuners, one for my granddaughter who is learning guitar and one for me so I have an extra one. They are the best! Easy to use and a good price. Highly recommended.

I am a guitar and bass hobbyist (actually a drummer / percussionist) and have always wanted to get a Snark since they are so easy to use (you don't have to plug anything in!) and they are so cheap; so why wouldn't you get one? I don't know what took me you so long--five years, but I finally got one and it has totally lived up to my expectations. Aside from tuning a guitar as soon as I pick one up, now I use it when I practice to see where I might be bending strings (again, I am not a guitarist, but if I were a guitar teacher I would recommend using it as a training tool). I have only been using it on Squier guitars and basses, which only have a light varnish on the headstock so be careful when using on Gibsons, acoustics or anything else with a sensitive finish. I am also excited to use it to check the timbre of my drum shells to know the actual note of the shell before I put heads on. I decided on the ST-2 since it allows you to turn off the vibration detection and use the built in microphone so I could even use it to check the notes of cymbals, triangles, glockenspiels, etc. I also wanted it for the built in metronome, but a little flashing light is not really worth it for me (as a drummer I have got to HEAR a pulse). For 10-15 dollars, why would you NOT have a Snark?

This was part of the package for the GL1 Guitalele - Nylon-String Guitar Ukulele (Natural) by Yamaha. It was all given as a gift and well received!

My first nylon string guitar of this type and I'm absolutely amazed at how nice this is. It's a very light yet solidly built guitar. Fit and finish is stunning. Playability is easily comparable to guitars of this type that are more than twice the price. Very pleased with this guitar.

Works very well on my Cordoba nylon string classical guitar. Firm pressure, grip is effective but doesn't damage anything. Easy to use.

I'm a jazz guitarist playing an 8-string classical guitar that goes higher and lower than a regular guitar. It has a K & K pickup and I my amp is a JBL EON powered speaker, which, for this instrument sounds better than any jazz guitar amp. I have used the Zoom A-3 preamp as well as an L.R. Baggs Venue DI. They are both very good but I'd say the Grace Alix is the best I've found. It has great features you can read about but I must say that the sound of my guitar with the EQ set flat is strong, clear and simply amazing! It's very well thought out. Worth the price.

Accurate, precise guitar tuning without a lot of confusing modes.  And the on/off switch is on the front which is nice.

A great inconspicuous tuner. Easy for you to see and nobody else. A must for a 12 string. No excuse for not being in tune. I’ve got six of them.

First let's get this out of the way, I was almost deterred by the dead pixel police but I think they are missing the point. This monitors motion clarity, color, brightness, responsiveness, and quality are on another level. I have owned or currently own the LGC2, the 175 hz ultrawide Acer predator x38, the 240 HZ BenQ Zowie, and the 270 hz 1440p Asus xg27aqm. Gaming on this is completely different. The combination of motion clarity and color vibrance is just nuts. I went into Apex Legends and I could feel the change from my other monitors to this one immediately. I can hit shots on this that I couldn't on the others. Everything slows down just a little and because the colors pop, you also see your opponents more clearly. Quick math lesson here. Since there are 2560 by 1440 pixels in this monitor, that means there are 3.7 million pixels and don't forget those pixels consist of red, green, and blue subpixels. So if one is dead, who cares? Are you guys serious? It's like you won a date with Alexandra Daddario and you are complaining about the dress she wore. Good grief we are entitled. I do not think mine had any dead pixels, I dunno, because it turns out a pixel is really really small. If you got the hardware to drive it, upgrade from HD to 1440p and leave your dated TN panels behind. Yes the 240 HZ oleds have a faster GTG, but that doesn't mean they have the best input lag, that has to do with other image processing elements beginning from the cable and ending at ur display. This is faster than OLEDs for total display latency and about 2.5 times brighter. If you are sweaty, this is your new home.
