Snow White 4K Review

This backdrop is snow white. Very easy to stretch out any wrinkles. I took it straight from receiving it to using it. Very easy to light. My lighting goal was White (255-255-255). The description reads (Hi Key White) and they are not kidding. Only suggesting is that 9' x 12' would be better for full length shots.

As pure white as the driven snow... I almost hate to let a client step onto it. Works great as a white or gray background.

I upgraded to this case from a Fractal Meshify 2 case in black. I wanted to go with a snow white build and have room for growth. This case is great, easy to work in and manage cables. I felt like it is well worth the money and am super satisfied with the quality. B&H did a great job getting it to me in only about 2 days (across country too)! It’s a thicc boy, so make sure you measure out a good spot for it if you do make the purchase. I absolutely love this case and was glad to see B&H had it in stock.

Think about the total control you have if you use your camera in manual model and measure the quality of light off the gray card. It elimantes the failure of the camera metering system that measures reflected light. So, your white snow becomes gray. With measuring the luminance of the light off your gray card, your snow is white. The gray card will give you perfect exposure.

If you want to print snow or other scenes that are the brightest white , this is the paper for you. It has just enough texture without looking like cold press watercolor paper, it is printable on both sides, and my old Epson 2880 printer accepts it in the top and rear (thick paper) feeds. Depending on your subject matter, you can opt for other brands and paper types.

If you want a snow white seamless background this one is the bomb! This paper is heavy and durable Because of that, be sure to clamp the roll when it's in use to prevent it from unrolling itself onto the floor of your studio!!!!

This is an awesome light. I saw video reviews of it and finally bought one. The light color/temperature is like snow white. The head moves fluidly when changing the zoom. Also great that the light operation can be customized (had mine reversed to turn on low and the go med and high). I liked this light so much that I bought a spare to keep in the car.

Simple set-up and easy to use. Scans that contain a lot of white (snow) or dark (like a sunset) are not the greatest - grainy. Scans of all the other slides I've done are fantastic. Excellent quality and color. Definitely worth the extra money if you are serious about converting your slides to digital or to print out. Works great on a Mac. (Having a little trouble with the windows computer, I doubt it's the scanners fault.)
