Snowball Microphone Floor Stand

This sure beats a heavy microphone stand that sits on the floor. Very convenient.

I realise this is not what it was designed to do...but I use this screw to mount my Blue Snowball microphone to my GlideGear TMP-50 Teleprompter. The arm that holds the smartphone clips on the teleprompter already has a small threaded portion at the tip, so adding this screw was easy. The shaft is the exact length I needed to go through the arm. It screws perfectly into an Auray adapter. Now my microphone is mounted right in front of me (and out of the shot) and I'm getting much better audio!

well It works very well to support my blue snowball microphone. not so many things bad about it all good things its sturdy best weight and even works for some small video recorder's... its an all out great mic stand...

I bought this microphone for my son, who is a hip-hop poet. Before this he was using a Sony dynamic microphone, which he felt was outdated. His recordings were ok with the dynamic microphone, but he wanted better vocal quality. After looking around on the internet, he noticed a lot of people were using a microphone called the Snowball, which wasn't a studio microphone, but the quality of vocal capturing is want caught his attention. He's good at things like that, so he told me he found the Snowball microphone at a great price, and it was all he needed to complete his home studio, so I bought it for him, and the rest is history. His vocal recordings are much more clear, and his voice is equal to the music when mixed.

I needed a microphone to enable me to record real-time narration while running a screen capturing program which I then provide as a tutorial video for students enrolled in an online class I instruct. I am primarily a Mac user, however, I use a PC because the software application taught in the class is not available on the Mac platform. I was quite pleased and surprised when I plugged the Snowball into my PC USB port, opened the screen capture software, and discovered that the software recognized the presence of the Snowball mic. I selected it as my audio input source and recorded a brief test. The sound it captures was clear, defined, full and far beyond my expectations. This mic is worth every cent (and it's not that expensive)

THe Snowball is great for close-up and environmental recording. I'm using it for youtube currently, and I couldn't ask for more from a sub $ microphone. The only negative is no stereo recording in this mic, which is available in the Blue Yeti, although at a $ price point.

This is one the best microphone if you are in a budget. I have the Yeti microphone wich is a litle bit more expensive and now I purchased the Snowball and the quality is almost like the Yeti. You have three option to use the microphone. That I like a lot. I would recommend it. Thanks
