Snowboarding Camera Stabilizer

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

This is a great camera and it is so much cheaper then th gopro. This is comparable to the $ or $ gopro. I got this camera for action stuff, snowboarding, sufring, whitewater rafting, a few trips I am taking in the next few months so I wasnt sure how much I would actualy be using a video camera but wanted to get some stuff on vidoe. I was looking into a cheaper gopro when I found the sj400. There were some good reviews and B and H being so great I figured I would try it and wosre case return and get the gopro. well I am not returing it!!! I took it snowboarding and it took great HD video and handled the shaking fro snowboarding very well, I saw no reason to spend the money on a gopro. The instruction are not realy great but it is user friendly and pleny of videos on youtube to see. I would recomend this camera. I did forget to mention the sj4000 is compadable with all the gopro mounts so another plus.

Took camera to Utah for a snowboarding trip. I attached to my Beats by Dre headphones to video down the mountain. Worked exactly the same as my boyfriend's Gopro worked for a quarter the price. The only drawback is that there is no remote that pairs with this camera. I don't know why they didn't make a remote. I only missed a couple pics because of the remote issue. Other then that, camera is awesome!

This is a very good camera stabilizer product but needs a support like the Eroz X1.

I have tried a cheeper stabilizer but found that it just did not come close to this one!

i used it for snowboarding an if i drop it the orange handle made it easy to find
