The Ubiquity devices are the best I have worked with. The controller software is great, although it probably works best with a ubiquitously Ubiquity network. 5 |

I own 2 of these routers, one is in my office and the other is at home. I use both with a Synology NAS (1819+ and 1621xs+). At home I also use a Synology mesh router to expand the reach of the wi-fi signal. The price is an excellent value, it represents not only the hardware (very solid) but also the software side. Synology software is incredible, once you get it up and running, the control software is truly wonderful...by that, I mean the software that runs like a desktop inside your web browser, not the DS Router App which is buggy and more limited (but still useful for monitoring the network from your smart phone). You can install VPN software that runs on the router itself (Synology VPN Plus) and remotely login to your wi-fi router and access files on the network as if you were physically there. Cool! The control software also runs diagnostics and tells you if you have poor cables, bad connections, interference, or other issues. You can assign individual users and control access, add parental controls, etc.. And it all works marvelously. By the way, the mesh works wonderfully, as a true mesh ought to do, it optimizes bandwidth to each device as necessary. You don't have to login to separate networks as you move around, Synology's control software does it for you, seamlessly and with no data interruption that I've seen. 5 |

This is a great scanner for home office or small/medium businesses. It's compact, fast, and produces excellent scans. The USB connection is fast and simple but I chose connect the scanner to my network so that I could share it with multiple computers. Setup was a breeze, I connected the scanner to an open port on my router and the driver software installed easily and found the scanner on the network. I have run about 600 pages through the scanner and it has not had any problems. No jams or misfeeds and the double-sided scanning is very handy. I did not have any problems with image bleed-through on double-sided scans which I have had with other scanners in the past. I have scanned a variety of documents including contracts with signatures and some with images or notes written on them and the scanner & software handled them all just fine. I also sent some business cards through and they fed through without a problem even though you're supposed to use a sleeve for small items. The Document Capture Pro software does a good job of setting up jobs and presets with the shortcut buttons on the scanner. The shortcuts are handy for scanning directly to a folder on your computer, saving directly to DropBox, etc. The OCR works well to produce searchable PDF files. You can make adjustments in the software to rotate pages, fix skew, add/remove pages, etc. If you need advanced post-processing you might prefer the Epson Scan 2 software or a 3rd-party software as this scanner will work with any standard scanning software, but Document Capture Pro does a very good job for most needs. The fit and finish is very good and the scanner feels like it's built well. It's meant to be a workhorse and from what I've seen it should deliver on that promise. This is a review for the Epson DS-730N Network Color Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. 5 |

Though I have not used all of the possibilities in the software, I was able to get the device up and running, save data to it, and retrieve it over my home network. The price was reasonable too! 5 |

I’ve used my fair share of scanners, back in the days of serial ports till now. I’ve been using page feed duplex scanners nearly as long, both from Epson and competitor brands. Obviously technology and software gets better over the years, and so far, this scanner, the Epson DS-730N takes the top spot in my book. First it is a piece of cake to setup. Default scanning is a breeze. The software settings for some customizations in the scans is entirely intuitive. It is fast. It scans cleanly, It’s network functions make it super nice for working in a clutter free desk environment. I say this because I have my scanner on the credenza behind my desk, and this easily sits remotely not having to be plugged into my Macbook on my main desk. The network installation was a breeze, it just works when you run through the setup. The scanning defaults make assigning different network users (preset buttons on scanner) so you don’t have to set up a scan in the software on your computer. Really convenient in a small office where the scanner is centrally located. Users can scan to emails, the documents folder, to a cloud location as well. I scanned almost 1000 pages without a single misfeed, and no image issues in any scan and in the high speed (lowest quality which is great still) chews through pages. I scanned thin card stock, business cards, and even thin receipts. All fed through with zero issue. Color reproduction was very good, image quality was impressive, software was intuitive, scanner was reliable and fast, double sided scans were without issue or bleed through. All said, this scanner is a champ. I recommend it without reservations, and should anyone ask for a recommendation personally, I would put the DS-730N at the top of the list because it’s just that good of a unit. I was asked to do this review for the Epson DS-730N Network Color Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. 5 |

it took a while to set up the software and understand the instructions because this scanner can be used in so many ways But after it is setup, the scanner is so useful The network scanning works without any problems from my computer as well as my tablets and phone Very happy with purchase 5 |

Device is robust and does the job well. Match with the PowerPanel software that works with nearly any flavor of linux on x86 and the network card, the UPS does exactly what it's supposed to. Dual serial ports is great as it allows me to connect directly to a Dell server but also to a KVM/Console IP switch to manage over the network. 5 |

It's not always about the hardware. For all the emphasis network gear manufacturers place on hardware, theoretical speeds, and being the first to implement draft Wi-Fi standards, they are surprisingly neglectful of the software that runs within. Ubiquiti's UDM bucks the trend, showing how solid hardware with well-designed software create a seamless experience from the set-up to the tools for ongoing management of the network. One might say that it's very Apple-esque. But it goes further, offering knobs and dials-which 99% of people won't ever touch-for even the most meticulous network administrator. And yet, all of its features are artfully unified in a way that's reminiscent of my favorite Theodore Roosevelt quote: "speak softly and carry a big stick." You'll know it's powerful, and the UI doesn't even have to shout it out from a mountaintop. 5 |

Added this access point to an existing Ubiquiti network. Straightforward installation, simple software action, and it works perfectly with the previously existing access point. 5 |

These are awesome little managed switches. You have to have a unifi controller or software on network for setup. Beware the 3 pack does not include power adapters. This is reflected on Ubiquiti website as well so it's not really cheaper to by the 3 pack. If you already have POE elsewhere these can be powered by that and save a couple bucks over the single packs. Otherwise the single packs are simpler choice because they come with a usb-c charger 5 |
