I recently got to try out the Extendá Plus, and I have to say, Im a fan! I had zero trouble with the software - as I see some others did. Using it around the house and the studio have been helpful for feeling out the app, but I am really looking forward to getting more use out of it in the field. So far, I am confident that it will work well! As a wildlife photographer, remote systems like this open the door for interesting perspectives, rather than typical telephoto views. I have a few different projects in mind that I sure will try and use the Extendá for! It works well on my canon 5D mark II - an older body. Nice to keep this in mind when buying! Like I said, this device really opens the door to new things. There are so many possibilities - more than I could ever need! Would recommend.

I have many TP-Link Kasa Smart switches and plugs. They are all excellent in what I feel is the most important function of a smart wifi device - the ability to retain a steady wifi connection even when located some distance from the wifi access point. One of my Kasa smart plugs even works inside an outdoor wooden shed 45 feet from the house and more than 50 feet from the access point inside a cabinet in the house. The Kasa software is functional. The only minor issue I have had is that setup of these devices sometimes takes more than one try to initially connect, and on occasion the device is actually connected even though the setup software doesn't think so. Remember, these devices work on 2.4ghz wifi signals only, not on 5ghz. I am using only the Kasa app on my iPhone, not any smart home software other than Kasa (like Google's or Amazon's), so I can't comment on that.

Wiring up and start p with NetGear’s software was straightforward and simple. Rearches anywhere in the house including the basement and patio without any dead spots or slowdown in the video.

My Netgear Orbi was packaged very well and was plug and play. The software was easy to download and use. My whole house (3000 sf) gets super fast coverage. On average 10x better than my previous setup! Definitely worth the money.

I purchased the following to replace 2 consumer grade routers. I have a Linksys WRT54G that is probably 10 years old. It was running the dd-wrt software. It's been great, but I figured it was time to upgrade. I purchased a Linksys� Max-Stream AC2200 first. It wasn't good. It needed frequent power bounces and on one occasion it completely lost the configuration. Its wireless interface was failing all the time. Very sad for $200. I returned it and reinstalled the 54G. I stumbled upon Ubiquiti and glad I did. Setup wasn't difficult, but I'm an IT guy. After a couple of hours, everything is working fine. I expect that to continue. I'll let you know if otherwise. Range of this AP is much better. I have a 2400 sq ft house on 2 levels and this covers the entire house. It reaches out to the front yard and the Linksys never did. I purchased a console cable from Amazon.
