Software To Record Yeti Microphone On Mac

Use the Yeti to record my granddaughter using Garage Band on my Mac Pro. So simple to use just plugged it up to my Mac changed a couple of settings and ready. So far I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

I had heard a lot about the Yeti microphone, and I feel that all the good things I heard certainly did it justice! It works wonderfully for what I use it for - I record 'voice overs' for various instructional materials.

Using the microphone couldn't be more simple; just plug in the USB cable, open recording software of your choice, and in minutes you'll be recording some surprisingly clear and crisp audio. On the topic of audio quality, one must mention the top-notch audio recording capabilities of the microphone. The Yeti uses a three-capsule design which allow for a wide array of recording patterns. The audio comes out well-balanced, picks up bass well, and produces most frequencies with excellent clarity. With that said, do not expect it to be able to record CD quality audio, but for a USB mic, it sure has just about every other beat. The only con I can really think of is the Yeti's size, which might make it difficult to transport. With that said, the Yeti is very well built and features a rugged metal body and stand.

I got my fiance the blue yeti microphone for Christmas BC he likes to record vocals and is amazing at it!! He was so happy!! The range is amazing and it is so clear of background noise just an incredible product!the only down side with this microphone is that it doesn't come with the pop screen aha. No big deal!! Other than that it is a wonderful product and has now got me thinking of taking vocal lessons just so I can use it myself :p

The stand the mic comes with is easy to assemble, and screws right on. It's stable and has some nice weight to it. The Yeti GX connects via USB-C from the microphone to USB-A that is fed into my Mac system. It was recognized immediately by my computer with no issues. You could really dial in the audio settings on the microphone by using the Logitech G HUB software. The software is clear and easy to use. The mic features a gain wheel and mute button on the side that is easily accessible. The nice blue light on the mic really makes the mic stand out and just looks premium. It is perfect for those who stream and like to show off their computer setups in video. The Yeti GX has great noise suppression, and has built in anti clipping software that prevents audio distortion. This mic has been a lifesaver for me with my video production and voiceover projects. The audio on my projects is super clear and just sounds very professional. I don't even have to adjust the audio in my projects anymore, it's perfect from the get go. This saves me so much time. As a bonus, I also use this mic for my work online meetings through Google Meet and Zoom and the audio is clean and clear. Having the Yeti GX standalone mic has been a game changer for me and I will never go back to an internal mic again. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their projects to the next level.

The sound you can record with this recorder at this price range is amazing, not only you can use it as a recorder but also as a microphone that you can use directly to your windows/mac pc with a cable. Microphone is very sensitive so I suggest you get a windscreen

I use this microphone for audio podcasts and have found the quality to be excellent. I directly record into GarageBand on my MAC. The connection to the computer was as simple as plugging in any USB device and was up and running in seconds. The quality for this price made this an excellent purchase. I bought a pop filter and stand to go with it to make a great combo.

I needed a microphone to enable me to record real-time narration while running a screen capturing program which I then provide as a tutorial video for students enrolled in an online class I instruct. I am primarily a Mac user, however, I use a PC because the software application taught in the class is not available on the Mac platform. I was quite pleased and surprised when I plugged the Snowball into my PC USB port, opened the screen capture software, and discovered that the software recognized the presence of the Snowball mic. I selected it as my audio input source and recorded a brief test. The sound it captures was clear, defined, full and far beyond my expectations. This mic is worth every cent (and it's not that expensive)
