Sol Republic Headphone Wire

I use this cable to connect various components to the headphone or mic jacks on my computer. This cable seems to be well made with fairly heavy wire and quality cable ends. I haven't had it long enough to discover how well it will hold up over time, but I expect it last as long as I don't abuse it. 5 |

The sound you'd expect from a more expensive pair of headphones. I'm a bit of a headphone fanatic, but wanted something that would pair well with my mic and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. While most headphones would do the job, I wanted these to be comfortable but not 100% noise cancelling. These fit that bill perfectly. The collapsible design is a bonus. They sound great - no distortion and are quite responsive to fine tuning adjustments to ensure accurate and quality output. My only concern is the wire from the head pad to each headphone. I'm always afraid I'm going to pull it out. However, this has not been an issue. I should note the wire appears because when you adjust the headphones there is a grooved metal (steel?) adjustment band that is exposed. I like it because they stay put and you aren't constantly having to readjust them. The coiled cable is very long and high quality. The adapter for the plug screws into place to ensure, again, a good connection without any loss of sound quality. 5 |

I have the Sweet 35 with Composer Pro. I've had it for years. For sure it's challenging but I bring it out when I'm feeling creative and occasionally get some very nice images. Using Sony focus peaking really helps... But I find the Composer to be a bit fussy and fumbly. When I saw the Sol the other day, I was impressed that it's smaller. Taking out the aperture variable also seemed like it would make the process easier. At the price point and with B&H's return policy I gave it a go and got it in 24 hours!... I did a quick dozen shots on my A9- yes the Sol supports full frame. I got a couple of images that look very good. The sharp parts are way sharp the the out of focus parts are so buttery- haven't tried the bokeh blades yet.... The Sol just seems like it's more solid and easier to use than the Composer. It's like a little rock- heavier than expected... It's a keeper... 5 |

We bought this bag for a recent destination wedding we shot in the Dominican Republic. We wanted something that would hold a body a couple lenses and a flash and was easy to fly with. Well this little mamma fit lots more. Totally surprised as to how much fit in there. I also loved how much it doesn't look like a camera bag. Who knew we were walking around with 10K worth of stuff in our bag?....nobody. 5 |

This film is Fomapan made in the Czech republic. It has fine grain for a 200 ISO, and produces interesting tones and contrast. I develop in Rodinal 1:50 and D76 1:1 with good results. 5 |
