Solar Power Wireless Auto Backup Camera System

I use this to provide backup power for my satellite internet, wireless router and VOIP phone system. Occasionally, it also powers my laptop and external LCD. Works great and has more than ample reserves. Functions out of the box with Apple Macs and seemlessly integrates with Energy Saver in OS X via the included USB cable. No Cons so far.

Backup charging for when I need it. This availability of the solar charging system was the answer to one of my main concerns regarding using the battery backup during a power outage.

I put this battery backup/solar generator to use and was not disappointed. It is currently hooked up to 300W solar panels and provides pass-through power to my medium sized residential refrigerator. Excess power goes to recharge the batteries when the sun goes down and it still powers the refrigerator. I took this out camping and was able to power my tent trailer for about 18 hours on a single full charge operating led lights' occasional water pump, and constant 3 way Dometic refrigerator (on AC setting). The refrigerator seems to have a constant draw even when the inside and contents are already cooled. The EcoFlow is heavy and cumbersome to carry by myself. But it does come with solid wheels that make it easy to roll around with the extendable handle. Remote app works fine and can connect via BT or WiFi. When through WiFi I can still control it when I am far away and connected with Internet. This is a keeper for me and will definitely be used as backup power in the event of a power emergency, or when I need power in remote situations.

Got two of this to power my Red Camera, a wireless video and wireless focus system and it lasts like 3 1/2 hours. Not bad. When shooting handheld and no accessories, that time goes to 6 hours. I've just bought two more.

This backup wireless system is ideal for when I'm on the road. Gives me comfort knowing I have a backup system when I'm away from my computer.

Just a quick note, I've been shooting (amateur) since 1988 or so, starting with film (of couse). In preparation for the solar eclipse coming in August, I purchased this filter. When it arrived, I started working to find the right exposure of the full sun, which will work well as the eclipse starts, then increasing exposure as the sun is covered. This filter protects your lens mechanisms and your camera internals from the intense heat that would be generated by straight sunlight into a zoom lense. It's also transparent - with no distortion. Order yours today, to make sure it arrives in time for you to experiment before the eclipse! A word of warning - you will not want to let the camera choose its own exposure. Canon's auto-exposure chose ISO 2500, 1/320 at f/6.3. With that, the sun itself is massively overexposed, with ghosts. Photo attached was manual, ISO 100, 1/1000 at f/11... the more orange was after pushing color temp in Lightroom - the more white was what the auto white-balance in the Canon Rebel T5 chose. Great little filter, if a bit pricey for one time use (hey, use it more, do more solar photos, plus another total eclipse is coming along in 2024, just 7 years). Definitely recommended.

Missed out on the Kick Starter pricing and delivery so had to wait until the items were in stock again. Started with the Delta Pro than the Pro battery followed up with a 400 watt solar panel than finally the Smart generator. About a year ago I purchased a tri-fuel generator but it is so loud that the world would know you have power. Between the solar panel and generator the system seems complete. Solar is quiet and the generator is also quiet, you can have a conversation with someone standing next to the generator without shouting or wearing hearing protection. Oh, by the way sold the tri-fuel generator. Tried out the Delta Pro by itself running my refrigerator. Starting at 100% charge, it ran my large refrigerator about 40 hours and still has some power left. I feel very confident that the system will help me from loosing food in the next power outage.

I am a newbee to Portable power stations, but this has been a very easy system to use and love the information screen. I just got their solar panels and it is just plug and play. In the future, I would love to see more information from the manufacturer on how to get the most out of this portable power station.
