I was surprised at the size of the unit when i received it, but then I realised that it uses a solid state storage disk. I powered it up, attached it to my KWILT personal cloud hub and never looked back. I store all my photo backups there and can access it at will. Great product 5 |

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on. 5 |

Almost all Raid arrays are limited to multiples of the capacity of the smallest disk drive in the group. This was an economical way to get my array up to 4T disks to eliminate that semi-hidden (if you fail to read the fine print) reduction in overall, array capacity. The second limit on RAID arrays is the cache size/speed. With 3 of these 4T disks I was able to switch out my older 2T 64MB cache drives for a new cache size of 256MB which means a bigger chunk of data can be written to the drive significantly increasing in effective disk/array speed. 5 |
