Solid State Drive 500Gb Asus Rog Replace

Solid reliable SSD drive. �I use it to replace an older and smaller, 500GB, Crucial M500 SSD drive. �This 850 Pro drive is much faster to boot and run programs.

Solid state drive worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used this to replace an old hard drive on my old laptop and because it's solid state I was able to breathe new life into a ten year old piece of hardware! Definitely get one if you don't want to upgrade to a new model of laptop just yet! Obviously it's a little small if you wanna use it on a desktop, but it's fine on a laptop

excellent little solid state drive - and powerful

I bought this case for my dream build PC after the one I had planned to pay $130 for - a now-discontinued Corsair model - went out of stock. Being a confirmed Luddite I had to have a model with the external drive bay. This case is surprisingly well made - absolutely no problems with fit or component compatibility. Great air flow due to the mesh on the front. It says you can have a fan on the bottom but as best I can tell this would only be possible if you removed the HD cage. The four screws on the back seem somewhat on the tinny side, but they work. The finished installation has a very minimalist, Scandinavian look. Nice window (plastic not glass) for viewing the innards, if you're into that. Very happy with this purchase. Installed as second drive in Asus ROG. Unfortunately had to remove heat sink. Fit perfectly. Showed up in bios immediately. Able to get dual boot from two hard drives.

My Asus rog strix scar edition gaming laptop didn't come with a optical drive so I bought this as a replacement and it works awesome super fast and ready to go out of the box I would definitely recommend
