Solid State Drive Adapter Sata

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!

If you are installing an internal Solid State Drive to your desktop computer, you'll need this SATA wire unless you are able to scavenge one off another attached device that you no longer use. It attaches to the back of the SSD (or other SATA device) and to the mother board.

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on.

Cost effective cable for migrating my old hard drive to new solid state drive.

I am happy I purchased this SSD Drive. It replaces a 3TB Sata Drive. I use it for data storage in as much as I have thousands of photos on this drive. I have been pleased with the speed, read and write . Backup is much better compared to the SATA drive. The SATA drive could take almost 24 hrs for backup while the SSD drive may take 3-4 hrs. . I have not had over heating. I use a mid tower ATX case and the fans are enough to keep it cool. I am very satisfied.

I bought this adapter to retrieve files from an IDE disk drive that was in an older computer that failed. Not having a system with IDE interface to connect the drive to, I needed the adapter to connect to a system with a SATA drive interface. The adapter worked perfectly.
