Solo Jazz Guitar With Walking Bass Line

I used the Fat Head to record my latest composition, a Jazz acoustic guitar duet. The sound was very warm, like you would expect from vintage equipment. I have not found anything not to like about this microphone yet.

For small combo work with a hollow-body jazz guitar, this amp has a great clean tone and in small rooms plenty of power even at its 40 watt rating. It must be extremely efficient because I have yet to go beyond 1 on the volume.

I'm a jazz guitarist playing an 8-string classical guitar that goes higher and lower than a regular guitar. It has a K & K pickup and I my amp is a JBL EON powered speaker, which, for this instrument sounds better than any jazz guitar amp. I have used the Zoom A-3 preamp as well as an L.R. Baggs Venue DI. They are both very good but I'd say the Grace Alix is the best I've found. It has great features you can read about but I must say that the sound of my guitar with the EQ set flat is strong, clear and simply amazing! It's very well thought out. Worth the price.

Love these! The piece of mind for safety is perfect for my solo runs, and I also use them all day- like for walking my dog so I can chat on the phone and still have my hands free free for the leash/poop bags, and also stay aware of my surroundings. Now everyone in my family wants a pair!! Battery life is amazing. Had them on playing music all day from my run at 6:30am until I went to bed at 10 and they were still at 60%

I'm a solo performer (guitar/vocals) who's performed for over 20 years. I can say, without hesitation, I sound better (and look better) with the Super 55 than any other mic I've owned. Vocals are just crisper and cut through the mix better with this mic. And, there is no cooler looking mic around. I just wonder why I have waited this long to get it.

I am using these with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen with TRS cables and my guitar sound is great. They do have the nearly inaudible noise when turned on with no signal, but with any signal at all the noise is gone. I highly recommentd these speakers.

I have now recorded about 4 times with this mic (male solo vocal and acoustic guitar at the same time with just the one mic. I am impressed and very pleased. Even tho the guitar is not miked it picks up beautifully. The vocals are detailed, clear and resonant. I have read that switching out the tube makes it even better and so have purchased additional tubes to this end. So far the supplied tube is so good I haven't felt the need. Eventually I will try out the other tubes and see if it makes it even better. So far... Bravo Rodes!

I am a solo acoustic guitar musician and I used these for the first time last Saturday. I played at a medium size club and with the height adjustment I was able to elevate the speakers over everybody in the building. This helped in controlling feed back, which is always a problem with a acoustic guitar. I can't say enough about the ease of raising 60 pound speakers with one hand, the power asist is awesome!

Precision and bass for multichannel movies but not really for listen music like jazz or classics. Best benefit is easy setting via trueplay. It's nice if Sonos add fast switch between spatial atmos sound and 2.1 audio with Era only.

I always have music on whether I'm working or winding down, and this speaker takes listening to the next level! The sound is so rich for a variety of styles - lofi beats, film scores, and it absolutely elevates the songs from my local jazz radio station. On this note, the bass is phenomenal and truly rounds out the drums and bass guitar - so much so that when I put on the Dune Part II soundtrack, my dog sat up probably thinking someone was at the door! Functionally, the handle is comfortable to hold and the speaker itself is soft to the touch. Bluetooth is easy to pair and I like that you're able to rename the speaker from the Bose app. Battery life is solid (in my experience, about 10% usage for two hours of listening) and charging is fast. The only feature I have not tested is the water resistance because I tend to err on the side of caution with such things. I'm also looking forward to bringing the Soundlink Max to more future pop-up events, as I recently curated a jazz playlist for my small business.
