I wanted something to use with my m4/3 camera for some video work...hand held vlogging and putting it on a table for other shots...I wanted something light and versatile and this GPod seems to be a good choice. I have no idea how well it will hold up over time but it seems solid and well made so my hopes are high.

Picked up the beauty for a song to help record live performances of music. The field-of-view is very wide (about 170°), so it may not work for all situations. There is a menu item that will narrow the FOV, but it does not increase the resolution or completely negate the fish-eye effect. That's not an issue for me. You also need good lighting. On the plus side, I LOVE all of the attachments and mounting options that come with the camera, including a bicycle mount that lets me attach it to the XLR of my boom mic, allowing me to take video from overhead as I assemble circuit boards. The camera also allows you to record time-lapse video at one frame per every one, two, or five seconds

This is like the blues song, don't miss your water till its gone. I use these on my camera body and telephoto lenses with a Manfrotto Grip Action Ball Head. It just works. I lost mine and bought this to replace it.
