I have the rack mount version of the BBE Sonic maximizer, and I must say the plug-in sounds just like the original. When I process digital copies of my rare vinyl LP records and saved soundtracks from my DVD collection, the 3 plug-ins (Harmonic Maximizer, Mac 3 Bass and Sonic Maximizer) produce a digital output that is very loud but crisp, so I decided to only use the Sonic Maximizer plug-in. This plug- ins bundle works only on a 64-bit compatible DAW software like Audacity 3.4.2 running under Win10/MacOS Operating system. One has to use one plug-in at a time in Audacity to process digital recordings. Audacity 3.4.2 automatically detects the BBE Sonic Sweet plug-ins after installation. Audacity can only use VST and VST3 plug-in types. The 4 uploaded images depict how the BBE Sonic Maximizer plug-in is used in Audacity 3.4.2.

I'd been looking for a stereo receiver to incorporate with my existing sound system and this Tree Receiver fit the bill.

As best as I could tell from other reviews this worked very similar to Sonic Maximizers from BBE, turns out, it does. It truly makes a difference in what you are hearing, hard to describe exactly how much better my turntable sounds, but it now seems less congested. a marked improvement, just fiddle with the knobs to suit your taste and then push the button to disengage it, and go wow, what a difference then engage it again and make your ears happy!

This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection.
