When I bought the 2018 Apple Mac mini, my Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad became unreliable to unusable unless plugged into the computer, consuming two ports. After a lot of isolating and testing, I determined the problem was my old USB-3 multipart hub. Replacing that with the Sabrent 10-port USB-3 hub has completely eliminated the problem. 5 |

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient. 5 |

Big advantage is that this HUB has a power adapter included which supplies 12V to the Hub and not the standard 5V. This makes switching on drives a lot easier as there won't be any spikes in the power supply which can lead to disconnected drives.. Perfect for my use.. 5 |

I had originally asked if this adapter would pass all data, etc and work with a USB hub or dock. Once I had this adapter, I ordered a dock. I am using a HyperDrive 12 port hub/dock. I have used several of the ports and the speed is fast! This adapter works as listed. I am using with a MacBook Pro. The connection is USB 3.0 to the Angelbird adapter to the HyperDrive.
