Sonic Studio 3 Headphones And Speakers Same Time

These speakers are sonic Heaven. The new improved tractrix horn has incredible definition. The bass response is world class. The woofer is tight and powerful rivaling many larger woofers. These speakers will stand up to many higher priced speakers costing hundreds of dollars more. Speaker cabinets are ridged and mass couple nicely. These speakers have an incredible presence and you can listen to them for hours with no fatigue. They are actually fun to listen to. Nice smooth bass response even at low volumes. Low frequency extension is so good you will not need a subwoofer.

Excellent sonic isolation for your desktop speakers. Tightens up the bass. (Although loose bass is often fun as well.). Try it - I think it's a keeper.

These are great speakers, they deliver a crisp and powerful sonic pallet. I feel I've made a sound purchase (pun intended).

I am enthralled how these speakers unleash their sonic prowess. One of the most remarkable aspects of these speakers is their ability to create a wide and immersive soundstage. Fives are a testament to the pursuit of sonic perfection.

Very good headphones, excellent sonic qualities. I find the clarity to be superb, and the comfort is quite good, too. Highly recommended. Price is reasonable, too.

You can't really go wrong with this set. You might read countless things like, I'll never go back to regular cans or Vastly improved my mixes and I forgot they were on my head, they replicate studio speakers that well. And these statements are all very true. There is certainly a heavy amount of marketing with these headphones. But, my God can you obtain such a clean mix with these. Will they replace my studio speakers entirely? No. But they are the best way to double check your mixes, no doubt. And it makes it so much easier to find tune EQ and adjust your mix. If you don't have quality studio speakers and a treated room and if these were all you had to go by, it would be acceptable. The only negative I would say about this set is that while the emulations of professional studios are fantastic, the headphones themselves could certainly be improved. While the bass reproductions work and they provide the data you need to make your adjustments in the mix, the bass is very muted and weak. Again, the necessary frequency reproductions are there but it needs more oomph. I think what the VSX system needs is just a higher ohm model with some higher quality bass drivers. Why not provide a premium edition? All in all, I don't think anyone could actually be disappointed with these.

Before I bought this amplifier, I would have to connect my headphones (Sennheiser HD201 and eH350) to my desktop speaker's headphone output each time I wanted to use them (late at night, for example). In order to get roughly the same listening volume through my headphones, I'd have to really crank up the volume knob on my speakers (they take a lot of power compared to your typical earbuds). With the HA400, I can keep my headphones and speakers connected all the time. When I want to use my headphones, I just turn down the volume control for the port my speakers are connected to and turn up the volume for my headphones (and vice versa to use the speakers again). This amplifier really lets me enjoy my headphones. The amplifier seems really well built and solid. The input/outputs are all 1/4 stereo connectors (could be a con for some, but I have a bunch of 1/4-1/8 adapters already, so it's not a problem for me). The only thing that I feel it's really lacking is a power switch, but in reality, that's not a big deal to me. All in all, I highly recommend.

I got this for two reasons: 1. Didn't want to reach to the back of the iMac every time I wanted to use headphones. When plugged in, this hangs about 2 inches below the bottom of the screen and is easy to reach to plug in headphones. 2. Didn't want to use the headphone jack on the iMac for risk of wearing it out over time with the switch inside getting stuck on headphone mode which would prevent sound from built in speakers. The item looks very well made and durable. The sound quality is crystal clear with no hiss or pops. NOTE: when you plug a headphone in, it does not automatically switch to headphone mode. That has to be done manually in the operating system (both MAC OS, and Windows/BootCamp). Simple procedure of switching to GHW USB Audio. One might think this is a hassle but it's not because this way you can leave the cable plugged into your USB-C Port and still have sound via the internal speakers. In fact, you can leave the headphone also plugged in and still have sound via internal speakers until you choose otherwise.
