Sony 20.2 Mp Digital Still Camera

I recently upgraded from the EOS-1D X. �I use the EOS-1D X Mark II for stills, and it is even better than its outstanding predecessor. �I am very new to video, so I will not review that camera function. The 20.2 MP image sensor is excellent. �The individual pixel size is larger than those used in many other full frame sensors. �Therefore, it is my understanding that the this image sensor can be more effective due to its larger pixel size, even though the number of pixels is only 20.2 MP. In some aspects, the technology may seem somewhat behind 2018 standards. �However, remember that the EOS-1D X Mark II was first announced on February 1, 2016 and is therefore a 2 year old design. �When this fact is taken into consideration, the onboard technology is fantastic! Finally, the user is not just purchasing a camera. �The user obtains top notch technical support from Canon!

For 60 MP Sony

I own a Leica MP film camera as well as the Leica M11-P digital camera. Thanks to this diopter I can now focus my rangefinder cameras in lightening speed.

I use the MP-101 with a sony HD handcam on my 8-12ft camera jib crane. I got the shots I needed without spending 1000's on a more expensive pan tilt head that I would only occassionally use.

I LOVE this little camera! I also have a Sony A9ii mainly for Birds in Flight photography, but I wanted a smaller, lighter, camera with a decent sensor and a single, all-in-one lens. Without having to change lenses, the RX10iv gives me 20 MP and the equivalent of 24mm-600mm (the A9 has a much faster and slightly larger 25 MP sensor but I need three separate, big, heavy lenses to cover 24 to 600.) I love that all the major controls on the RX10 are laid out much like the A9. I also LOVE having the three Custom Buttons, the ability to customize most of the other buttons, and the 12 Function slots – this has allowed me to set up this camera nearly the same as my A9 (this is really helpful for my old brain!) This is an excellent all-purpose everyday camera!!

At 61 mp with all the features of a Sony, this camera is very hard to beat. The autofocus is spectacular and the animal eye focusing sensoring make it a great choice for wildlife photography. the 61 mp make it essentially a medium format camera that is perfect for landscape photography.. It is the greatest all in one package that I have found.

A great 24 mp 1 sensor and camera. The battery drains much too quickly (on/off) even though the EVF is turned off, airplane mode is on and the brightness setting are turned to normal manual. I wish Sony would address this issue with a firmware update, but they seem to be unwilling to do so. In the past I have used a 16mp NEX-3n and it did not have the battery draining issue so I know Sony is able to solve the problem.

I am sure there are cameras that shoot 50 MP and frames rates up to 24 fps but those are a few specs that I really don't want or need. The A7iii checks all my boxes. This is my first ever full frame camera. I can shoot a room in my house in total darkness and the photo comes out pretty clear and true to color. (Although its on a tripod and a 25 sec exposure). I always dreamed of owning a Sony camera of this caliber. Low light high ISO is of upmost importance to me. Sony FF cameras are legendary status.

Still learning all the features, but using it off camera & cordless is the reason I finally bought a digital flash.

Getting back into photography, first attempt at digital. The camera is easy to use, with lots of features. Still getting used to it, but no regrets so far.
