Sony 35Mm F1 8 Fe

Sharper than the FE 35mm sony zeiss offering when used on the a6000. Round aperture blades are also nicer than the straight blades on the Sony Zeiss FE 35mm. Plastic lens hood is sturdy enough. AF is not as noisy as people say online. Focus is quick enough for children and pets. If you are doing video, you should be using a separate recording device anyways. MF is by wire, but no instant overide when you grab the focus ring. Doesn't come with a carrying pouch, but no big deal since it's the one Lens that is permanently attached to my a6000 anyways. There is noticible CA wide open all the way up to f4 in high contrast areas. Phase One's Sony software does a good job cleaning it up. A must have for a6000 still shooters.

Bought for 16-35mm Sony (Zeiss) FE mount zoom lens on my Sony A7s. Perfect filter, screws on like a glove and seems to offer no optical degradation to my eye. Easily secures lens cap and additional filters/step-up rings.

I have a Zeiss 18mm f2.8 and the Sony FE 35mm f1.8 but needed something in the 24mm focal range. Really wanted the Sony FE 24mm f1.4 the the price was just to high for me. When Sigma announced the 24mm f2 and I saw the price it piqued my interest and after reading and watching some of the reviews by Christopher Frost and Dustin Abbott I decided to pull the trigger and get it. This thing exudes quality, reminds me of some of my Vintage lenses, no cheap plastic on this lens, even has a metal lens hood. It's a joy to use and it's SHARP, very happy. I purchased this lens hood for Sony 35mm F2.8 Sonnar T FE ZA because I dont like the strange looking original lens hood. I am so happy to have a very steady rubber hood and found out that  it is made in Japan. Rubber hood is very useful to shoot through the glass without glare or reflection since it can be right next the glass. I dont always need it, but since this is very small, I am keeping it on always.

I sometimes use a Sony FE C 16-35mm T3.1 lens with my FX6, this case works great for that setup. Room for monitor and other lens.

This is the 3rd lens I have for my A7ii. My other two are the Sony FE 16-35mm and Zeiss Loxia 50mm prime. This lens is great when you want to pack less and commit to one lens on an excursion. It allows you to get up close to subjects, or if something is out of range, your still able to crop and get good images. What's most awesome about this lens is when your at full zoom it still stays sharp thanks to the built-in stabilization the camera and lens provide.

Definitely an A grade lens ( my grade for Sony FE lenses, A+ for 55mm, C for 35mm, D+ for 24-70, B+ for 70-200). Excellent resolution & focussing accuracy at all focal lengths, with minor fall off near 35mm. Better than comparable Leica lenses from 16-24 mm. The only negative is the slight pin-cushion distortion at 35mm that is easily corrected in Post or in camera with JPEG's. It has equal resolution compared to my Zeiss 18mm F 3.5 ZE, but much better CA and coma correction.

Bought it to use onZeiss/Sony FE 16-35mm F4 lens and Sony FE 70-200mm f4 lens both with 72mm thread and have no issues with image quality at all....highly recommended for video work

I paired the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 lens with my Sony A7R IV camera and am very impressed with the incredibly crisp and detailed pictures I am now able to obtain. Most of my photography is landscape stills. From close ups of flowers, to wide angle sunset shots, this is the lens I will be using the most! With the high resolution camera and the crisp lens, I am amazed at how much I can crop down a photograph and still get awesome image resolution.

Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens is one of the best Sony lenses in my opinion. It is sharp, has almost no aberrations and stays sweet throughout its range. Very pleased with the lens and with B&H for its service and reliability
