Sony 4K Projectors

This projector has been outstanding. It projects a stunning 4k image which rivals projectors at 4 times the cost. The menu is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Outstanding black reproduction and OMG does this projector shine when you are using it in a a room with lots of ambient light. It cuts right through the daylight. I have enjoyed mine for the past year but sadly must part with it since i am moving and my new home will only accommodate an ultra short throw projector. My loss will be a good pre-owned deal for the next owner. I managed to get an outstanding 120 inch picture from this projector ceiling mounted and only 10 feet from the screen. If your considering the PX-701 4K just do it you wont regret it.

I just purchased a new 4K Epson projector for my home and as I have done for my previous home projectors, I always buy a spare bulb right away. I probably won't need if for at least three years, but just in case, I'll have it hand if it goes early. The price from B&H was the best out there and it clearly was an original Epson product. Here's hoping that I DON'T need it from some time to come.

I mean, as far as projectors go, this one is pretty much perfect except for the size. Great 4k image, HDR, fantastic image placement adjustment (manual adjusters are the GOAT). It is very big, but it's not even that heavy, and I'm not complaining that much because the thing runs so quietly and cool that I honestly forget that it's on my ceiling most of the time. The fact that it has a dark paint job is another bonus.

I did my homework before settling on this projector. I was looking at 3 price points. Low ($1200), Mid ($3000), High ($6000). For the High I wanted the Sony entry laser projectors (but I think this one is even better than the entry laser projector from what I read in professional reviews). This project was at the high end of the Mids but after reading many reviews from AV professionals, when they say that this is their favorite projector and another said that the picture is almost as good as the Sony $40K laser projectors I had to try it out. And it does not disappoint. Everything that you think and expect in a great image, it has. I run at a medium bulb power and it looks awesome (in a dark room). Just read the pro reviews and you will settle on this one for the price point. I was not a fan of pixel shifting or DLP but this projector won me over.

Just moved and decided to upgrade everything. Bought this switcher to attached my Sony 4k Blu-ray Player, new Xfinity 4k X1 TVE box, Xbox One S 4K, and my Amazon Firestick (hopefully soon 4k) all into my Sony 4K TV. Works seamlessly and passes through the best ratings of audio and video. Small compact metal packaging to house everything and can be hidden using the supplied infrared extender cable for the remote. Highly recommended.

bought two of these cases to fill with Optoma Projectors. The projectors fit great after removing the pull-out foam. Anyone with professional gear that needs to travel must have some of these cases.
