In terms of performance and accuracy, this battery is nearly as good as the equivalent OEM from Sony. It's not as accurate in terms of battery remaining readout, but frankly, once any battery like this dips below 15% or so, all bets are off in my experience, and get changed out for any critical takes. The USB and P-Tap connections are nice bonuses, and absolutely come in handy in the field. They charge just fine on the OEM charger, and I've had no problems with their build quality or longevity. 5 |

I bought these batteries because of their d-tap output — Sony doesn’t have an equivalent. One battery lasted most of a day powering just my Sony FS5M2 — haven’t tried powering my Atomos Inferno and FS5M2 yet. I’ve learned through thirty plus years of full-time shooting trust OEM batteries more. Let’s hope these IDX batteries prove me wrong. 5 |

Have owned a few 70-200mm and equivalent lenses also including the Sony 70-200mm f/4. All great lenses, but this one is better than the ones I have owned. -Quick to focus. -Accurate focus. -Very, very sharp. -Out of focus areas are very pleasing to my eyes. -Great colors. -Well built. -Great ergonomics. Hesitated for a long while due to price, but now that I have it I do not regret the spend at all. My favorite lens. 5 |
