Sony A580 Camera

This is an amazing camera. I have used Nikon D7000, Sony a580 and Pentax K5. It has features from all those cameras combined into this one the Canon 7D. There are pros and cons to all cameras but I find that the Canon L lenses are the very best. I think they produce ultra sharp images much more than the Nikon or Sony. The Canon 7D is awesome for sports and anything that is fast action. You can't go wrong with this camera.

I use this with my Sony A580 & 500mm reflex lens as I wanted to have some immediate waterproof protection avail for my trip to the southern states in storm season. plenty big enough for me so any lens I have on can fit in the case in a minute's notice

I have a Sony A580 coupled with a Zeiss 16-80 lens that I wanted a weather-proof cover for as I always like having the camera slung around my neck when I'm hiking for easy accessibility. Often I still like to have my camera out even in light rain or when hiking through bushy sections. I figured this cover would help protect my camera/ lens in such situations. I'd consider the A580 to be a medium sized DSLR and my lens is only 3 5/8 long and fairly narrow using a 62mm filter thread. I ordered the large size on the advice of another reviewer and even find the large size to be a bit on the small side as it fits quite snugly. I find it easier to take off the zing than to put back on due to it being so snug; almost to the point that I think twice about bothering to take a shot. I'm making a point of leaving the Zing cover on when not in use in hopes that over time it will stretch out a bit. In spite of this it's still a great design and is well made. If nothing else, it will serve me well just for safe camera storage in my backpack. If you order this cover, dont bother with any size smaller than large unless you are using a mirrorless camera.

When preserving your old cassettes to digital or making new ones, dont go cheap--its not worth all the headaches.  Yes the TASCAM CD-A580 is pricey when compared to others, but it is well built and gets the job done.  Buttons feel solid and are responsive.  No product is perfect for everyone so check out the specs carefully.  My one wish for the A580 is that it would record CDs and not just play CDs (but then add $$$).  See.  Nothing is perfect.

I bought the A580 to fill a void when an old cassette deck broke. �Tascam has a long history and a good reputation, but I didn't expect anything special. My initial impression of the sound quality is that both the CD player and cassette player are excellent. �The cassette sound is more dynamic than with previous tape machines. �It may be due to the lack of Dolby noise-reduction, but I don't detect any response anomalies, so I'm pleased.

Took the plunge and purchased this Tascam CD-A580 to make quality digital recordings of some old cassette tapes of a family member who was a speaker during the 1970's through early 1990's. Everything seems to be working very well so far and I'm pleased with the audio quality even though there is that tape hiss from the cassettes. I'm recording onto a USB drive, then going to my computer to piece the files together (front/back sides of the tape) using Audacity. No issues so far!

My third Sony camera and they just keep on getting better.
