Great lens and allows me to adjust focus without going into manual mode.

Picked up some dust changing Lenses on my Sony A6000, the camera's self cleaning mode left some stubborn specs that where showing up on pictures. The Rocket Blaster got rid of those specs.

Purchased this lenses at B&H for my Sony A6000. Keep in mind -this a fully MANUAL lense - No complaining please. Construction - Excellent, a little too well-built for the A6000. For it's size, it's heavy. Mount fits snugly, will notice minimal shifting when jerking the camera, but it's expected - weighs more than the camera. Lens cap good; Mount cap garbage. A true wide angle. Very easy to get the whole frame in focus and sweet subjects isolated when needed. Focus ring is great - for my liking. Aperture is clicked. Center starts sharpening best at F2.0 Corners Best from F4-F8. Better Contrast than the Sony 50mm 1.8, 55mm-210mm, Sigma 19MM, 30MM, 60MM, Can sometimes can be sharper than all of the above. If you really want a quality FULLY MANUAL wide angle lens, then buy it. Otherwise, Touit, Rokinon 12MM F2 (ULTRAWIDE). WARNING: A. Bad lense shadowing when using on-board flash on the SONY A6000. B. Will have to set a custom key to use Focus Magnification. (I used the center dial key - lost Eye AF) Will not automatically pull up this feature like other supported Sony lenses. C. Goodbye Quick Hybrid AF features.

If you have a Sony Camera, you will love this one it does everything. If you are undecided, watch Gary Fong's video a6000 on B & H. If you have owned any kind of Sony product you know it does not come with a manual, there is a .pdf manual at the support site.

I am new to my Sony a6000, so everything is a learning experience. No different with this lens, that is manual. You definitely need to watch a you tube tutorial on how to set your camera up for using a non sony and manual lens but once you get that dialed in it is pretty easy. I have used it on one major photo expedition, and like the images I am getting with this lens. The image posted was bracketed and then I ran it though Nik HDR. I also cropped some of the bottom of the image, but the width of view is what the camera/lens shot.

I bought Instantflex TL70 about half year ago, I truly fell in love with it, I love its vintage outlook, I love its function, and then I go and figure out more about MiNT, and found this gem, their signature camera MiNT SLR670-S. This is a modified vintage camera, a true vintage from 1970s. But to my surprised, when I open the box, the camera looks like new. It offers 2 auto modes, A100 and A600, both are very easy to use, just focus and shoot and the result is awesome. And then it offers a range of manual shutter speed, including 1/2000. The manual shutter speed is very useful if the lighting in the environment is complicated. I would recommend this camera to everyone who loves Polaroid!

Mounted on my old Sony Nex-3N and it works in manual mode. Camera has good manual focus assist and first 10+ shots are in focus and sharp. Lens is solid with metal construction, focus ring is smooth, great price for F1.4 lens.

I own a Sony CX900 . It does not allow manual audio, but the auto mode works well.

I wanted to get a fisheye lens for my cannon mirrorless EM50 - a pricey proposition which can end up over a $1000; more like $1,500. I knew that there might be the possibility of a third party lens which would require me to work in manual mode - but that wasn't going to be a problem for me. It would just involve doing a bit of homework on how to make it happen. The tricky thing is that you need to go to manual mode in order to find the correct setting it won't show up in the other setting modes. Then in the camera menu go to Custom Functions and under CF II there is a choice for shutter release when no lens is attached - you want to enable that option and then you should be able to make the lens work. You can still set ISO and shutter speed - the f-stop is set via the lens.

I needed this item to control my shutter speed but unfortunately my Sony a7c camera doesn't support wired intervalometer.
