A great inexpensive remote for my Sony a6000. 5 |

I bought this combo for use with my Sony A6000. It works like a champ. Full control of the flash unit from the Commander on the camera. I bought 2 additional flash units and it's very easy to configure them all in one group, in two groups or in 3 groups from the camera. I use the flashed in modifiers like Apollo Orbs and soft boxes, so it is important for me to be able to control the flashes when they are closed up inside the modifiers. 5 |

We are using this remote along with a a Sony A6000, a Power zoom lens, and a 32" TV to do large quantities of pictures from across a studio. I've paired this up with a 24' extension. Our products are on a lift table allowing for square, in focus pictures every time. So far we have been running this set up for two weeks with no issues. Earlier reviews said that eventually the zoom will stop working. I think we will buy a backup just in case. This remote has allowed us to make our photo set up very efficient. While this is plugged in, you can use the Sony RMTDSLR2 to access more advanced camera functions such as delete or photo review. That remote does NOT zoom. Between the two remotes, we are able to use all of the necessary functions of the camera from across a room. 5 |

Sony RM 30BP is a tool that allows one person to control many cameras. Many of Sony's camera work perfect with the remote, some will have full control of the camera. The ability to change setting in camera with this controller is a must when your in a rush. Using in a multiple camera setup with one remote is not ideal. Multiple camera and multiple remotes is ideal. The downside is cost and Sony needs to address the issue of the remotes being slightly defective. When zooming out slowly, sometime the remote will continue to zoom out unless assisted to stop. Bad for such a high priced remote control. Plus it would of been great if the buttons were backlit, making changes a dark room is really challenging. I have 2 remotes looking to add 2 more, but have had bad luck with finding good ones, without the defect as described above. All the ones bought from B&H have been good. Other sellers not so. B&H the greatest.. 5 |

I use this wireless remote to control my Sony HDR-CX675 for filming my wood shop projects. Now I only touch the camera to reposition it or to upload vids or stills. The remote behaves as described - 2 speed zoom in/out, start/stop recording, still photo snaps, and camera power on /off. Only downside is the receiver does not fit into the recessed hot shoe (receiver doesn't need hot). I recommend this! -Mike 5 |

Varizoom Mini Audio/Video to Lanc Converter Cable to connect with a consumer Sony HDR-CX360 video camera and to use specifically with purchased Manfrotto RC Pan Bar EX Remote Control for LANC Cameras comes mounted with a standard pan bar and is compatible with LANC (Sony and Canon) cameras. The external remote variable speed zoom control mounted on a tripod. The more you turn the the zoom(focus) control the faster the zoom will go. Works zooming in or out with a great deal of control. There is a separate knob that works as a speed limiter. The camera was not on the list of cameras, all functions WORKED, worked well and with great operator control for the zoom. I believe my camera does not have a remote focus, therefor not checked for this function. Item used for capturing automotive race action. No negatives as far as operation. Items packed well, timely shipping. 5 |

Since Sony does not appear to have a remote control that works with their A6300 mirrorless camera, the ShutterBoss II Timer (along with a wireless version with greater range) is the only option seems to be one of the few options. Though the instructions seem a bit complex initially, the functions become more intuitive as one uses it. There are a number of useful functions built into the switch including a backlight for dim conditions, adjustment of the self-timer duration, and the flexibility of long interval durations for activities such as astrophotography. The remote uses two standard AAA cells instead of harder-to-find button batteries. There is a two-step shutter release that allows the camera to autofocus and determine exposure before the shutter is fired. Adjusting the camera settings, the remote will also function manually w/o the need for batteries. The connector from the timer to the multi-terminal port is very secure. Highly recommended. 5 |
