I bought this lens for my new Sony A7iv and I love it. I upgraded from Sony a6000 and didn't have a full frame 24mm lens to use for astro photography. This lens is very sharp. I love the astro feature to set it instantly to infinity focus. Saves about 5-10 minutes of focusing workflow in the field. The autofocus is also fast and useful as a street photography lens or for landscapes. 5 |

Very sharp images for landscape and architectural photography. Autofocus works with Sony a7iv but I haven't pushed the eye tracking capabilities to any degree. 5 |

I upgraded my a7iii's to a7iv's. I am a wedding/event photographer. I love the camera, lots of great upgrades. I upgraded for the video capabilities, and faster readout speeds. I shoot hybrid at my events. I love that you have custom saved settings for photo/video, dual uhsii slots, better video settings, and stickier autofocus. Although I typically go through 50% battery in 2 hours which is not terrible but definitely not as good at the 7iii. Just need to bring a few more extra spares. Other than that, it's great. If you are thinking about upgrading for work, do it. 5 |

Purchased my second a7iv for events, sports and weddings. I use them for photography and video, which is the best solution for me. A couple best features is the dial to switch from photo settings to video settings. In photo mode where i'm shooting at 1/1000 and changing to video mode at 1/60 and back, it is as simple as changing mode switch. The other best feature is saving the settings to the SD card, then putting it into my other a7iv, using the load feature to configure the second camera to the exact settings as the first. Also have saved settings for sports, events, and weddings. I simply load the appropriate settings for event I going to shoot. Great features. 5 |
