Sony A7Rii Battery

We have 3 sony a7rII and love having many of these. I haven't noticed any difference in performance compared with the Sony battery.

Fits my Sony A7RII

I am a professional photographer & this battery grip works very well on my Sony A7RII. I recently started using the A7 series Sony cameras and I am blowed away by the image quality ! This battery grip works very well and differs from the Sony battery grip but the reason I bought it was the PRICE. Its made well and it has worked every time. So good so far..........

I was pleased with using the RRS L-Bracket for the Sony A7RII. It provides protection for the camera, adds an extension to the body and a bit of weight which improves the balance of the camera with longer and heavier lens such as the 2470 GM. I bought the L bracket for the A9 with the same goals in mind. It is even more refined. The vertical portion can be easily adjusted and removed. It retains the idea of moving the battery door to the plate while retaining the weather integrity with a seal. This also facilitates a quick change of the RRS L bracket with the Sony battery grip which also needs to remove the battery door. Given the cost of the camera, this is a relatively small price for the added protection while providing a sturdy tripod mount. Purchasing this from B&H is far easier and less costly in shipping it to Canada.

I use the case relay to power my Sony A7RII while Im shooting a timelapse. Even when the camera shows the low battery warning the camera keeps running. I did some really long timelapses with it. The battery of the camera only let me record a 3 hours timelapse, but with the case relay there is no limit. The longest timelapse I did had about 8 hours, but I know that with this product Im able to do a 24 hours timelapse very easily.

I upgraded my SONY A7rII to the SONY A7rIII. This battery has a much longer life than the batteries from the A7rII. One of the reasons I upgraded was the battery life of the A7rII was really insufficient and I had to purchase multiple batteries to get me through the day.

Very comfortable on my Sony A7RII

I use this on the A9 and the A7rII. On the A7RII the focus hunts alittle and is not as fast as when mounted on the A9. But that is the camera bodies and not the lens. I have been using the Canon 400mm 5.6 on both of these bodies. The Sony lens, at 400mm, is as sharp and possibly sharper then the Canon lens and the Canon is one hell of a sharp lens. This is a fine lens and can be used effectively on either of these Sony bodies.

Bought this for my Sony a7rii as a spare charger. Works great!
