I own a number of Rokinon lens from my Sony a7rII. If you can live with manual focus, and don't thrash your equipment, they are wonderful lens. The 12mm Fisheye is no exception, sharp wide open, great color and contrast, and a value to boot! I have been using it mainly for landscapes and love the results. 5 |

I am using this lens on a Sony a7rII and although I have not had a chance to do a lot with it yet, I'm impressed with what I have been able to capture. I'm surprised at how much I enjoy the manual focus and in some ways find it easier than toggling around with autofocus. It draws me into the experience of taking a picture. This is a heavy, well built lens, but fits well with the Sony a7rII body. The biggest issue is making sure that the camera is steady for the shot and working with a tripod will help with that. I'm looking forward to taking the time to do a lot more with the lens and it inspires me to work more with manual focus. 5 |

I use this on the A9 and the A7rII. On the A7RII the focus hunts alittle and is not as fast as when mounted on the A9. But that is the camera bodies and not the lens. I have been using the Canon 400mm 5.6 on both of these bodies. The Sony lens, at 400mm, is as sharp and possibly sharper then the Canon lens and the Canon is one hell of a sharp lens. This is a fine lens and can be used effectively on either of these Sony bodies. 5 |
