Sony Alpha A230 10.2Mp Digital Slr Camera Manual

When I bought the Sony Alpha SLR Digital Camera package, I mistakenly neglected to get an AC Adapter Kit... but because I purchased the camera primarily for video production, the AC Adapter is essential. Not surprisingly, I got the quality that I expected from a Sony product.

Excellent option for SLR Camera! I used this case for the Sony Alpha Next with 18-210mm lenses. It is not a proffesional SLR, but it is around the same size. The case is perfect to store the camera, an extra battery, extra memory, even the connection cables and the battery charger for this particular camera. I think it is a great option for a compact case

I bought this camera to make the leap from a digital point and shoot to a digital SLR. I last used an old film SLR 10 yrs ago, so it'll be nice to see what I remember and learn even more about photography. I'm very happy the camera accepts AA lithium batteries and there is a lengthy printed operating manual too. Additionally, there are more than enough manual settings for my needs. Lastly, the price is right and was lowest on B&H! I haven't found any cons yet.

Great entry digital SLR camera with bright viewfinder and full manual control for students of photography. I added a Cannon 40mm 2.8 for point and shoot. But a beginner should add a 50mm prime lens IMO. Get the bulb cable for long exposures for maximum creativity. I have found manual focus useless compared to my film cameras, the autofocus just works.

This lens works beautifully with the Sony Alpha A7s Ii Mirrorless Digital Camera. I highly recommend this lens :)

This product *is* compatible with Sony Alpha cameras with the proprietary hot shoe mount, although an adapter is required. Since this flash is fully manual by nature, no functionality is lost through adapter. Can not beat the flash for the price! High-quality feel, decent battery life, easy-to-use (i.e. no reading required for total set-up). Fully manual functionality not a problem, since flash shooting is often trial-and-error anyway.

I have two Vello adapters now allowing me to use good and very good manual lenses on my Sony Alpha 6500. Fit and finish are excellent.

Being a novice in mirrorless cameras and photography as a whole I find this book very helpful and the service from B&H is first class.
