Sony Alpha A6100 Mirrorless Digital Camera

Got this one for my Alpha a6100 because I didn’t want to charge the battery while in the camera using the USB cable. As always with Sony products the charger is very high quality, that’s why it’s a little expensive, that’s the “Sony Tax” lol..lol.. Not sure how long it takes to charge a fully depleted battery, but I’m guessing it’s probably slow. Overall a great purchase.

My husband recently purchased a Sony Alpha A6100 Mirrorless Camera. I thought this would be the perfect Christmas gift so that he could safely take his new camera on our many outings with our toddler son. The case is the perfect size and can easily fit the camera and lenses. The removable inserts make it easy to accommodate our preferences for how to use the bag. And the front zipper pocket is just the right amount of space for smaller items like the batteries, lens wipes, etc. The padding on the case gives us confidence that our camera is protected while we are walking around outside or storing it in the car when we travel. The strap is also a padded and sturdy. My husband loves the bag and I do, too. I was weary at first because I couldn't see it in person but it turned out to be just what we needed.

If you've played with a mirrorless camera already, especially one of the Sony ones, then nothing here will surprise you. It's the same as the other Alpha cameras, only everything is 3x better/faster/sharper! While not revolutionary, this is a big evolutionary jump that gets several steps closer to bridging to the gap with consumer-grade DSLR's, in half the size and at half the price.

I purchased this Sony Alpha a6000 with the 16-50mm and 55-210 with free accessories, as a backup to my Canon 6d mark ii. I also bought this for the 11 fps, and it has not failed me. Also, having a less expensive mirrorless camera has given me the opportunity to decide about future mirrorless camera purchases, which I will probably get, and will definitely purchase from B&H Photo. They have been great. I highly recommend this camera kit if one is not sure if they want to go the mirrorless market or as a great backup to your DSLR.

My camera is a Sony Alpha II, which is a very good mirrorless dslr, that takes movies as well. Of course the built in mic is minimal. I tried it out for real at a house concert, with serious audio equipment, and an audience of about 50. The two mics were both pointed at the artist, so it was not really sterio. The sound quality was quite presentable on the external stereo speakers driven from my laptop. My intention is iTunes and Facebook use, not making studio quality audio so it clearly does the job for me.

Finally, i received my new Sony Alpha a7 Mark II mirrorless camera on Monday, December 28, 2020 via USPS. It is a remarkable camera I ever owned so far. I already owned a Sony Alpha 6000 compact and i really like it. I also owned several Pentax and Nikon cameras but this is my first full frame mirrorless one. it is wonderful to have these additions for my hobby.

Fantastic mirrorless camera, I love the alpha series very much, I've tried canon and nikon but sony gets it just right. As an amateur photographer, I use B&H for all my camera needs, they have everything I'm looking for and more. I upgraded from the A7 III and I don't regret it. Not much of a difference except for the body style and sensor which is a great upgrade for me. I love this camera and would recommend anyone to get it. If you have trouble deciding, rent one and you will know what I'm talking about.
