Sony Av Amplifier

Great sound for my Sony sound amplifier.

This make the 2nd Sony AV receiver I've owned and have been very satisfied with both.

Hooked up to a Sony AV receiver to replace TV speakers. Work great and have a terrific balance of highs and lows for a bookshelf speaker.

Utilized the extenders for a remote AV rack to Sony projector. The install was fast, simple and they linked right up and were working immediately. I can't review longevity yet, but so far I am satisfied!

As a audiophile I have other headphones I prefer if I want to simply listen to music however as a pro AV tech, this Sony MDR-7506 is the ONLY headphones I want when doing any kind of pro use from checking a mic line in a live mixing situation to mixing audio for video, this is my choice headphone. The Sony sound is flat, not a lot of bass but is exactly whats needed when mixing as you want flat. The isolation is good when blocking outside sounds and I find the Sony will hold up to pro use, except the ear pads those are replaceable, I would suggest go ahead and order the extra ear pads as you will need them. I have been using my original set of Sony MDR-7506 at least 12 years of pro work and are simply fantastic! Never a short or any problems but I am on my 4th or 5th set of ear pads as in a pro situation I am very hard on these phones. You may find a better sounding headphone but when mixing or using in the field for anything pro AV, this is the headphones to buy!

This is an excellent AV Reviever I bought to replace an earlier version that was suffering from old age after 5 1/2 years - and better replaced than repaired (it is hard to find someone who repairs them, unless still under warrantee). This Reciver has more capacity than I need, but it's solid with great specs and upgrade capcity to not only 4K but also 8K. It upgrades cable signals for an excellent video result AND audio. Easy to use. I had my Geek Squad (I'm a Total Care Member) set it up for me to include adding banana plugs to my speaker wires - I've wanted to do that. This Receiver has recently gone on sale - so there's no reason to settle for less. And it works seamlessly with my other Sony Products and my Spectrum Remote. I once had a tech friend in HS who worked on electronics ... he said when you open up a Sony product, it is obvious the build quality is a cut above everybody else. So I buy Sony. Jim

Have owned numerous AV receivers over the years. The str-an1000 may not be the best one, but if you have a recent Sony Bravia OLED TV with center channel capability, it's great. The combination gives you a great surround sound setup without a bulky center speaker that can be difficult to place.

This is the adaptor cable you will need for LANC remote control on a newer Sony camcorder with the D shaped AV/R labeled connector. Works with both the Manfrotto and Libec LANC zoom controllers on my Sony HDR-CX550V.

I added this to my Sony HDR camcorder with AV-R jack. Mounted this on my Manfrotto tripod. It works really well. The rocker style control lets me zoom in/out at a good speed, not too jerky at all. Well built. It's a perfect companion to my Manfrotto leg/head combo.

The cable is used with my Sony VCT 1170RM tripod remote equipped with Lanc plug. My old Sony videocam CX700 with AV/D socket. In this case the tripod's remote is no longer to use again. I have to find the converter from Lanc to AV/D cable adaptor, but unfortunately I have found else where over Hong Kong and China Sony stores. The answers are no supply. I am very surprised that Song always changes s remote connector in different type and shape from generation to generation. Making the previous remote control on tripod can not be used again. This time i am very happy to find it at B&H, Just received and tested last night. the performance is very satisfactory.
