Sony Ax33 Price

I use this mic with my Sony FDR-AX33 and it does improve sound recording, mostly because of the 120 degree adjustment, allowing it to record better stereo sounds. It does disable manual control in the camera but there is a switch to switch between normal and low cut recording.

This is a great accessory. It is compact so it fits in the small camera bag I use with the Sony AX33 camera. The quality is fine.

I use this with my Sony AX33 camcorder. Open the camera's screen and it automatically turns off. From that position, I can start and stop the recording. It also run a visual timer so if I need to add graphics, I just note the times. A real time saver and I can operate a fixed position camera from my seat!

I was pleased with my two AX33's. I was very pleased with my AX53. And I am delighted with my new AX700, which I have had now for six weeks or so. There is just one thing I wish was different (in all four) and that is only because I always shoot with at least two at the same time and sometimes all four. I really wish Sony would make it possible to change the "DSC_ " portion of the file names produced by each camera. If I could just change those to different values, such as CAM1, CAM2, etc then I would be able to offload all four cameras to the same folder. I also, by the way, use a Nikon still camera and it DOES allow me to make this change. It seems like it would be an easy thing to change.

A worthy successor to the AX33. Low light is improved, stabilization is rock steady, and color reproduction looks very natural. No complaints so far. Kudos to Sony.

I'm a train enthusiast and bought a FDR-AX33 a while back but this is waaaay better it's more wide angle, The zoom is really sharp and crisp n' clear, The audio is fantastic, and is light weight. If you're looking into getting your 1st 4K Camcorder this would be the best buy.

I purchased the FDR-AX700 in April of 2020, I already own 2 FDR-AX100s, one AX53, one AX33 and one Mirrorless A6400. I love the build of the AX700 it has become my #1 camcorder. I do multi-camera shooting and the picture quality and consistancy from one model to the next. Most of my shoots are indoors so low light is always a challenge but the AX700 tackles the job.

Sony 4k is the best and I got it at an excellent price.
