I'm a beginner photographer and bought this camera to learn photography and for travel. It's lightweight and functional. My only complaint, like others have stated, is the short battery life. To combat that, I bought an extra Sony battery and wall charger. I also bought the Sony 35mm f/1.8 as the main lens. 5 |

This Sony camera is certainly not for a beginner photographer or videographer. The menu and setting can be quite daunting but if you know what you're doing this cameras capabilities are endless. Has all the features most filmmakers need and has crisp pristine footage accompanied with a G Master lens. It's Photo and Video capabilities are next level and one of if not the best Hybrid to date! 5 |

I use this with sigma 30mm art. Fantastic combination. If you're a beginner this camera will make you love photography. As kinda advanced enthusiast I am amazed of the performance. Minimal Lightroom adjustments. Contrast, colors for jepg are excellent. RAW rocks. The only frustration is that Sony limits Sigma lenses to use wide area AF points all across the sensor. Come on Sony! and don't forget to buy extra batteries. 5 |
