These headphones are excellent for multipurpose use. They are crystal clear, particularly in the mid-lower areas. The bass is certainly heavier than one might need for mixing/producing, but it's not overbearing. If you need a flat sound source, go for the M40s instead. These work for mixing as long as you're compensating for the amped up low end. Don't sleep on these things- the value for money is excellent, especially considering that the cable can be replaced. They should last you a very long time.

These are the best headphones on the market today. The sound quality is crystal clear and the battery life lasts a long time. They are also comfortable to wear and the look of the headphone is nice too.

TL;DR: Buy these headphones if you want crystal clear tones, good Bass, and great balance. You're probably stuck with the three cables that come with the headphones, so don't lose them! I purchased these headphones because I've been practicing Bass Guitar and I wanted to pick up the lower tones properly and really hear what's going on. These headphones deliver on that goal. There are two things that may concern you: First off, the top band (in black) compresses when you put the headphones on. Especially if you have a big head, like me... And you may worry about cracking in the fabric. I took a look at pair of AT headphones I've had for 5+ years, and they're holding up fine -- no cracks. Secondly, the headphone jack that is on the headphones has a locking mechanism. This appears to be a non-standard fitting which means you will only be able to use cables that are compatible (only those from Audio-Technica most likely) however the three cables that come with the headphones will most likely hit all your use cases.

Definitely an upgrade from my previous QC 45’s…headphones are comfortable, sound is crystal clear and noise canceling is the best I have experienced in an over the ear headphones by far.

Why did I wait so long to buy these headphones! The sound is crystal clear with nice, deep bass. They are comfortable to wear. And Bluetooth paring is a breeze. I love that they can be paired to two devices at the same time - this allows me to take calls at work while listening to music on a personal device. And the noise canceling is superb--important when there are two of us working from home. Thanks for the great service, B&H!

I love everything about these headphones. The sound is crystal clear, with balanced sound and nice bass. They are lightweight and comfortable for extended hours of use. The look sharp. And the price is unbelievable really. Incredible audio bang for the buck.
