Sony Dr 5A Headphones

I used to listen to LS3/5A, a $3,000 plus bookshelf speaker and found that sound from these cheap Sony speakers is very acceptable for general listening.

TL;DR: Buy these headphones if you want crystal clear tones, good Bass, and great balance. You're probably stuck with the three cables that come with the headphones, so don't lose them! I purchased these headphones because I've been practicing Bass Guitar and I wanted to pick up the lower tones properly and really hear what's going on. These headphones deliver on that goal. There are two things that may concern you: First off, the top band (in black) compresses when you put the headphones on. Especially if you have a big head, like me... And you may worry about cracking in the fabric. I took a look at pair of AT headphones I've had for 5+ years, and they're holding up fine -- no cracks. Secondly, the headphone jack that is on the headphones has a locking mechanism. This appears to be a non-standard fitting which means you will only be able to use cables that are compatible (only those from Audio-Technica most likely) however the three cables that come with the headphones will most likely hit all your use cases.

These headphones are great! I kept looking for something that could out do Dr. Dre Beats and these kicked BEATS to the curb hands down and the price is great. The two year warranty is an added plus.. I love them. Great purchase.

Plugs right from the DR - 40 and into my camera. Works great. I pair it with headphones and allows me to monitor the sound really nicely.

This product ATH-M50 White has really impressed me in many ways. It is very comfortable, meaning you can monitor or listen for hours. Great for Studios/Monitoring. It has great bass, I'll explain the Lows, Mids and Highs below: Highs: Very crisp/natural Mids: Perfectly balanced Lows: Great bass, not too much not too low. Bass is only there is bass is present in the track you're listening to. Wayyyyyy better than the Beats by Dr. Dre Pro or any other celebrity headphone. They're stylish, a great alternative to the Beats by Dr. Dre if you were considering the Beats by Dr. Dre for looks. They're very comfortable, after using them for 10 minutes, you forget you even put them on. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone. The cable is very durable but the only Con would be it's NOT removable, but they make up for this with a very durable thick cable. GET THE COILED CABLE IT'S MUCH MORE PORTABLE THAN THE STRAIGHT CABLE! They easily fold up and can be put into the carrying pouch that comes with it. Um. Wow. These lavs. They work! They work not only in Sony UWP-D wireless transmitters and receivers (URX-P03D 2-channel mic input,) Sennheiser G3 transmitters, TASCAM DR-10CS input and pass-through output to UTX-B03 transmitters (I have CS, but they'll work in DR-10Ls too,) TASCAM DR-05s providing both a track with the level you set AND a -12dB safety track. Same story for Zoom H1. These lavs allowed me to sell off my Sony and Sennheiser lavs (1 wired lav per Transmitter PER BRAND) and replace those with these amazing Senals. I bought 4. On DealZone. So very happy.
