Sony Dsc Hx400V Digital Compact Bridge Camera Reviews

I have a Sony DSC-HX400V for the last few years. It worked very well for objects close by, even when zoomed all the way to 1200mm. However, when the object is far a way the picture quality detartrates very badly due to camera shake. Therefore, I was skeptical about the P950 with 2000m zoom. I took my tripod with me ready to use it with the camera stabilization turned off. I was pleasantly surprised by the images that I took at 357mm (2000mm 35 mm equivalent) handheld with the camera image stabilization ON. I ended up keeping the tripod in my bag for the entire trip. I attached two of the pictures that I took at Tommy Thompson Park in Toronto. To be honest with you it is not like what you get from a full frame camera, but without the P950 or its sibling the P1000 it is impossible to take these pictures at 2000mm. The quality of these pictures in my opinion is very acceptable. Nikon did a great job with this camera and it well deserves the five stars that it gets.

Great for my Sony DSC-HX400V. Fits just right and has space for a few extras: SD, battery, granola bars, chap-stick... Not a ton of space other than that, but I was looking for sturdy and highly portable. This Ruggard bag delivers. Very happy with the construction.

This cap is a perfect replacement for my Sony HX400V digital camera. This new one has the Sony name printed on the front that looks nice. The cap fits good and snug on my camera. It's made very well. Appears to be durable. The price was great from B&H Photo.

I purchased this for a Sony DSC RX100M3, looking for the most compact case possible which would provide good protection. It has proved difficult to find a case deep enough for this camera without the other dimensions being too great, and this is perfect. A press stud belt loop makes the case easy to attach, and a shoulder strap is provided if required. Two zips allow the wrist strap to be left available outside the case, and padded lips extend beyond the zips to prevent them scratching the camera.

Purchased to protect my Sony bridge camera

I have a Sony Cybershot HX400V This case is just right for the camera, my wallet, phone & misc. A perfect purse for when I want to shoot. Otherwise, the camera only takes up about half of the bag. It is well-made and a great price for something this size.

Purchased case for my Sony HX400V with batteries, charger, SDHC Cards, Sony Flash and a Leica C pocket camera with its accessories. The case easily holds everything. It is very compact and perfect for an older person (such as I am) who cannot carry a large or heavy load of camera equipment. Highly recommend this case for this purpose.

I have the sony DSC rx100III and this camera needed to be sent back Sony to address issues with the lens shutter. the sony repair folks fixed the camera back to factory specs. All good by me.

I felt the need to buy this as my new camera(Sony DSC HX99) is a little slippery and this makes grasping it more secure, although at the expense of increasing the size of the camera slightly...even so the camera , using only the lower half of the jacket, fits , although tightly , in my small camera bag.....it is well made .....I replaced the long neck strap, which is not easily detachable, for a wrist strap and works fine.

This compact and fast charger allows me to precharge my Watson batteries for my SONY Digital Handicam without carrying the large and cumbersome SONY charger that only works bu charging batteries in the camera. This make the use of the camera so much more convenient to charge 3-4 batteries and hit the road without charger anxiety.
