Bought this for my Sony DSLR. Does exactly what it's meant to do.

I bought this camera for my wife who already owns a Sony NX5 and a Sony DSLR. The Alpha 6000 is now her go to camera for just about everything she photographs. All the features of a new DSLR camera but half the weight and size. Blazing fast focus never misses and works with all of her older E lenses and DSLR lenses with the Sony adapter. I elected to get her the gorgeous silver and black finish body that is reminiscent of neo-modern rangefinder camera in the mirrorless package and the fit and finish is excellent. Unlike the Nex 5 the Alpha 6000 incorporates an electronic viewfinder into it's light and compact body that is bright and sharp and a welcome addition over the older Nex 5. Current pricing of the Alpha 6000 is very good for such a feature laden camera and although the newer Alpha 6300 and 6500 may have additional features in more robust packaging you would be hard pressed to find the same value for money! As expected B&H service was excellent and delivery was faster than I anticipated, even with the need to clear customs into Canada.

I wanted a camera that was more portable than my older DSLR. This Sony has provided that. It is loaded with options and has been fun to learn. It is easy to take a nice focused shot without too much knowledge. My main complaint is the instruction booklet that comes with the camera is woefully lacking in details.

A great alternative to the Sony camera strap that came with my A58 DSLR, it is much more comfortable and the quick release makes it easy to put on and take off! Also love the extra pockets for spare SD cards and batteries, also useful for holding lens caps. Definitely worth the money, made very well for the price!

The Sony menu system takes a bit to get used to, if you are coming from a DSLR.� And furthermore, the flush mounted buttons, and close tolerance wheels take a bit of fumbling to operate. You will go through at least 2x battery charges as compared a single DSLR battery.� The Electronic View Finder, Direct Manual Focus (DMF), focus peaking, autofocus speed, 11 frames per second drive speed, and wifi connectivity (sharing images using Sony Play Memories) make this camera worth the price by themselves.� The kit lens is about 90% as sharp as the 55mm f/1.8 that costs around a grand by itself.� Unless you need a really shallow DOF, this kit lens will be superb for about 95% of the users. � I own a Sony A7r2, and A9. I purchased this camera so that I could have something to throw in my pocket when I take the kids to the beach, playground, theme park, etc. I did not expect much from this body/lens combination. I just wanted to document the fun times our family has without also carrying the liability of 5 grand of camera gear around.� My expectations were seriously wrong. The performance, ergonomics, and image quality of this setup blows me away.

This is the third camera in my household. I have used Nikon DSLR and Sony mirrorless but my wife wanted a small size camera for taking baby and dog pics with good portability. As you know, they move fast in everywhere. This camera is good enough to capture good images under not only outside daylight but also inside fluorescent light with bright lens and high ISO. Based on my opinion, ISO up to 2000 makes very acceptable results without much noise. I have loved using my Nikorr and Zeiss lenses but this pocket sized camera is also very good one for carrying everywhere even with a lot of baby stuffs. This will be beyond your expectations as a point-and-shoot camera. Only cons that I can pick is probably battery doesn't last very long so you'd better keep extra battery in case more than 1 night trip.

The Sony a7iii is the best camera I've ever used. The image quality is better than my also full frame DSLR. Eye autofocus never misses. Low light performance is impressive. Also many 3rd party lenses available. The menu system will let you customize almost anything, but is very poorly designed. Battery life is extremely good for a mirrorless camera. I got a great deal on a barely used copy. However FedEx shipping is terrible!

I have a Sony remote shutter that had a older input for my DSLR. When I updated my camera, the camera had updated inputs. I was very fortunate to find this. It works perfectly! It fits into my remote shutter and camera.

I bought this for my new SONY DSLR camera and it is great. Plenty of room in the main compartment which is ajustable and side pockets. Well worth the money!
