Sony Dxc D50 Digital Video Camera

We're using this on our Sony D50 video camera's. One of the Sony monitors died, and Sony no longer supports them. This is a great color monitor. It was easy to connect using standard BNC cables. Note: This monitor comes with a standard 1/4 hot shoe mount, so you don't need to buy one. I wish that had been listed under what's in the box on the B&H website. Would have save me $17, but in our line of work you always want to have a spare anyway.

I use this battery with my PMW-F3 sony camera. I also use other sony batteries for my digital camera and digital video cam. All SONY batteries last longer and get charged fast. But they are somewhat expensive.

I've used this type of camera cover for over 12 years (on a Nikon N70 before going digital with a Nikon D50) and have found it far better than my previous leather or fabric camera cases. I just bought a second one for my new (second) digital SLR. It is easy on/off, can clip to your camera strap or be stuffed into your jacket or vest pocket and offers your camera and lens excellent protection. I do a lot of outdoor/nature photography and this case does a great job of keeping your gear safe when thrown in a backpack, in the trunk of your car or a storage locker on a boat.

The case is being used for my SONY.. digital HD video camera recorder. It is big so that it will fix and room for digital camera, the ligths, etc... So far (4-5) producer, would like to have one now.

This is a great camera. I love the HDR feature and video recording. I'm coming off of a D50 I have had for 5 years. That was a great camera. But with all the new features this camera has the price and options were too hard to pass up.

Use this product with my Sony digital camera alfa 5.

I use this foam for my Sony PCM D50 in my Pelican 1060 case - its a super nice fit and secures it so that it can't get shaken around inside the case. Plucking the foam is super easy. Enjoy!

Nicely made piece of gear, but not exactly what I needed, ended up returning it and trading up to the Sony PCM-D50, a very nice field recorder.

I also use this to securely hold my Sony PCM-D50 and it does the trick. In the area above the insert I store the remote control, windsock and a dust cloth which insures everything is securely in place.

I bought this because: 1) I needed it. 2) It was on B&H's suggested list of accessories for the Sony PCM-D50 Audio Recorder. So that is the application. I got it, headed over to a Craft Shop (JoAnn's), bought and fitted some foam into the case. It does a great job of protecting the audio recorder from the other items in my mobile audio/video kit. If there are any cons, it is that I should have gotten something big enough for the PCM-D50 AND a spare set of batteries (4 x AA). But that isn't the cases fault. On the other hand, Pelican's unconditional lifetime warranty is a pleasant and surpassingly rare surprise.
