SMALL, LIGHT WEIGHT. LASTS ALMOST AS LONG ON A SONY EX 3 AS A AB DIONIC 90 LASTS ON A JVC HD 100.

Very good for XDCAM EX. Work perfect with 32GB Lexar Class 10 cards. The transfer time to the computer is superior to Sony PHU disks, but slower than the original Sony's cards (not important).

Like many Sony EX-1 owners, I waited two years for a filter that could correct that camera's tendency to cause the red color spectrum bleed. When this occurred under certain lighting conditions,certain shades of black would appear, brown, burgundy or various other color tones. This filter corrects that problem 100%. It keeps all of the black colors within the scene the proper shade of black. I would say, this is a must have filter for all Sony EX1 owners.

Everyone that owns the Sony EX-1 needs one or two of these BP-U60, high-capacity batteries. My first week of shooting with this battery, I shot for 8 hrs/shoot. At the end of each day, I still had about 1/3 of the charge left. Granted, I make it a practice to turn the camera off during down-times. That accounts for a large part of the gain. But, this battery holds up to long shoots. **** Well worth the money ****

I've been using the H-400 for at least 8 years now (Sony EX's and PMW's). I don't have any cons because I'm just so used to it & can't imagine shooting without it. Off course, it's main purpose is to be used outdoors, but it also comes in handy during retail & interviews when I'm inline with my lighting or there's tons of ambient light. Just flat out invaluable when tweaking your shots in the field & helps clients get a better preview also. I quess I've finally worn out the velcro after all these years, so now I'm ordering 2 more (maybe 3) and shelf the spares!!!!!!

This Pelican case was exactly what I wanted. I did have a backpack case for my Sony PMW EX-1 camera but decided I needed something sturdier with wheels that could be checked if needed when traveling. Pelican cases are waterproof and very sturdy. The dividers in this case worked very well for my application, giving me a way to organize audio, camera light, gaff tape, etc., in addition to the camera and peripherals.

Comes with A-9EX Sony PMW EX to Fujinon ENG Lens Adapter for Zoom Control by Libec (so don't buy one, like I did). Now I can zooom and pan with one hand, and focus, etc. with the other.
