Sony External Microphone For Bluetooth Xa Mc10

Purchased this unit specifically for the bluetooth wireless format for my AX-100 Sony 4K camera microphone input. I also have a Sony bluetooth pair ECM-W1M where the receiver is mounted on the Multi-Interface shoe. This ECM-AW4 is very flexible because you can use it with the cameras microphone input jack which I need on my other cams that don't have a Multi-Interface shoe. Another great thing is that these units can be just used as a wireless communication device with another person. The sound quality is great and the range and speed of connection is very good. Battery life is also very good.

I bought this v-rig to use on my Canon xa-25. I recently bought an external screen and I needed a way to mount both a shotgun mike and the screen. It does what it is supposed to do, but shooting sports on a tripod(lots of swinging around) it does allow a bit of wobble. Nothing I can do about that.

I had several chances to use the XA 20's direct predecessor (Canon XA 10) several times and was going to purchase one when the XA 20 came out. I am pleased with several of the upgrades that came with this new model. The biggest bonus is the greater zoom capacity, the XA 10 did not let you zoom in from a distance. The XA 10 had only a 10X zoom, the XA 20 doubles that and you can tell. The monitor screen is a big improvement and the ability to use more than one video format is a bonus. I know many folks dislike the lack of external controls, but I don't find myself wishing for any more than what's on the machine right now. You can asign external buttons for important features and if you need more than that, this camera is not for you. I favor the small size and light weight because I need mobility and the quality for the price and size is super! I have yet to need the night-vision capabilities, but that feature alone sets the XA 20 apart from every other camera I have ever worked with (I can't wait to use it). The XA 20 is an easy camera to get into, an easy camera to use, it gives you a great picture and it's small size is a BIG plus for me. I would recommend it for use in tight spaces, or places where you don't want a huge rig/footprint.

I bought this to replace the windscreen I lost for my Sony ECM-MS908C external microphone. Fit like a glove and worked just like the original.

this is a must have when connecting your cell phone to a external microphone.

I like the adapter just for the simple fact I can use my external microphone but I don’t like that the adapter is so big just for an adapter.
